I’m finding it difficult to believe others are letting IHAQ get away with his comments in regards to DCP without giving him a bit of pushback.
Are you really all of one voice and have a fear of sticking up for your own opinions even if they run contrary to a fellow non believer’s view?
Even when it seems to be ‘full of it’?
C’mon.

MG
You are "full of it." If you need me to explain my comment upthread, just ask. If you want to ask my opinion on something, just ask. Otherwise, the old rule applies: when you assume, you make an ass out of you and you.

Well, yes, you did respond rather tepidly to IHAQ. I suppose I’m more interested in having him answer the questions I put before him. I think his character assassination of DCP was unwarranted. And many folks just let him get away with it. Shameful.
I don’t expect that he will take the time to adequately respond. Short answers with little substance seem to be his protocol when I ask him questions.
I suppose that’s why I recently got a bit fed up with him and called him IHAQBKA.

Lol, not a chance, mentalgee. Ihq gives you very, VERY complete answers, you're the one giving "Short answers with little substance." Your rumormongering is really getting out of control.

We’ll see. I am interested in his thoughts. I think he was rather harsh in essentially calling DCP’s words unchristian.
I think he lives across the big deep and it’s late over there and he’s putting the kids to bed or something.
Maybe he will respond soon when he is able.
Did you have any problem with what he said? If not, why?

Well then wait for him to respond and leave the rest of us out of it.

I don’t know how to respond to this except to say that you would make an interesting case study.

We’re watching the situation in Israel with particular interest. We’re scheduled to be there, leading a tour, in about three weeks or so. By then, I think that the instability in Israel itself is likely to be over. But if, as seems likely, the Israelis launch a full-scale ground invasion of Gaza, that’s going to be extremely ugly for all concerned. Street-to-street fighting in an urban setting – especially one that is as densely packed as Gaza — is extraordinarily difficult. Already, Israeli airstrikes are very probably causing innumerable civilian casualties. And yet, I sadly think that Israel needs to do something like this. If they hold off, Hamas will simply strike again.
How very Christian of him. Did he listen to any of the recent Conference talks?
Peaceable followers of Christ do not follow either path. We are warm, engaged members of the communities where we live. We love, share, and invite all of God’s children to follow Christ’s teachings.12 We follow the counsel of our beloved prophet, President Nelson: we choose the role of “a peacemaker, now and always.”13 This inspired approach is consistent with both the scriptures and prophetic direction.
Marcus, I asked you earlier but you didn’t answer. Are you in agreement with IHAQ? Do you think this was an unchristian thing for DCP to say? Would you take issue to my response to IHAQ?

Are there instances or have there been times when you believe it has been or is appropriate for those that are Christians to join their Jewish brothers and sisters to fight for a righteous cause? What do you believe the Israeli response should be after the horrific attack on their homeland by terrorists hell bent on the destruction of Israel? Do feel that Hamas should be allowed to continue as the dominant force in Gaza after what they’ve done?
I only ask these questions in response to your defamation of another person for taking a position that supports Israel at this time when they are under attack from multiple directions and fighting for their very existence. Half of all the Jews in the world live in this relatively small geographical area.
It can be argued as to whether or not they have the right to lay claim to the land that they call home but I don’t think it can be argued successfully that they do not have a right to come down hard on Hamas and crush them, while at the same time hopefully trying to limit innocent victims during this bloodshed moment in an area of the world that is unfortunately prone to violence and mayhem.
I question your accusation that DCP isn’t a good Christian because he supports the Israeli defense and retaliation in response to the horrific actions take by Hamas.
