I disagree. I read Rosebud's posts there but I am not inclined to give them weight, due to her issues here.Kishkumen wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 11:24 amI don’t completely agree with everyone’s conclusions. In fact, the lumping of JD in with the other two makes me skeptical, not of the predation of the two (Kimball and Bramer), however.
Note that Rosebud shows up in Josh Weed’s comments, so, of course Marcus is right that some comments clearly do not support the distinction I am making. Indeed, it is Rosebud who drags JD into the discussion.
I am talking about the multiple other people who expressed their opinion re Dehlin, and several who gave lengthy, detailed information about their personal experiences with Dehlin. These had nothing to do with Rosebud. They were almost all uniformly negative about Dehlin, with a very few expressing a vaguely neutral stance.

I hope Brad Kramer lives out his remaining days with halitosis, and really itchy hemorrhoids.

I can’t imagine it’s a lot of fun working for a boss who thinks he’s constantly under attack from both the LDS church and exmo critics.Marcus wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 8:29 pmI disagree. I don’t care that multiple people have negative opinions of Dehlin. Or that a person of a certain ideological stance attracts comments along the same lines in her threads. This thread is about the difference between actual sexual predators and those who are erroneously lumped in with them for ideological reasons or because of bogus accusations.Marcus wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 8:29 pmI disagree. "I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

Huh? I assumed Marcus was implying that other women were suggesting more than a negative opinion. As in more women were accusing him of sexual harassment but with more evidence. I haven't seen such accusations but I don't spend much time thinking about it.Kishkumen wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 9:15 pmI don’t care that multiple people have negative opinions of Dehlin. No, that is not what I was implying. Please don't read more into it than exactly what I said, which is this:

And there are plenty of people who unfortunately think the sun shines out of his backside. Where does all this anecdotal evidence leave us?Marcus wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 9:30 pmNo, that is not what I was implying. The people who haven't signed NDAs and have stuck their heads above the parapet have unfortunately been found to be quite unreliable with some of their claims. And a judge indicates that the more litigious one has been destroying evidence and also seems to have contempt for the law. Feels a bit lynchy.
I shall not be encouraging my kids to work at Open Stories Foundation. But not sure he can be cancelled just yet.
