At this point the funniest thing Nemo could do would be to send in his resignation papers because he was offended by his Stake President for being called to a Court of Love.

Frankly, I’m shocked it took this long. I wonder what made Nemo the Ex-Mormon so confident he wouldn’t be ex’d? Second Anointing?

Now is the great day of Dallin Oak's power. Nemo today, Radio Free Mormon tomorrow.

Well, at least they didn't declare, "Off with his head," and send Orin Porter Rockwell after Nemo. If Nemo had undergone the Ceremony of Pazuzu and drank the nectar of Saitan like RFM, then he would have been spared the indignity of becoming a TK Smoothie and forgoing the LDS harem of wives in the Celestial Kingdom.

I did see a few comments around the Internet that Oak et al. might be cleaning the pantry while Nelson is still around to eat the shitburgers.

The two cardinal, unforgivable sins in Mormonism are murder and anything that actively attacks the brethren’s credibility.

The former may at times be permissible if God wills it.
Ouch! More truth spoken at the DM.
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

Nemo is a kind of Mormon Socrates, who shows the emperor has no clothes and is not serious about the things he pretends to be serious about. Socrates will always be convicted vindictively for exposing truth, and the lazy Athenians will continue to pat themselves on the back as their empire disappears, leaving behind the memory of Socrates as the authentic beacon of truth against the foolishness of vain people who lie to themselves and everyone else, mostly asleep at the wheel as they do so.

I hope we can all be there in spirit when Nemo climbs to the Acropolis and enters the Temple of Justice to speak his allotted 45 minutes of truth and then is offered the LDS cup of hemlock. I will be rooting for him far from the Aegean in the Land of Zion where the shadow lies.

This analogy wins the Internet today! Wish I'd a thought of it.
