And, don't forget, Vladimir Putin himself told Trump lets begin a "New World Order." If that doesn't wake up Christians, nothing will. That has been THE KEY TO SATAN in all apocalyptic end times Christians popularizing books such as Hal Lindsay in the 80's, and so on and so forth....
Why would they want to wake us up if they want us asleep?
I don't know what is real and what isn't anymore in terms of conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy theories are like religious claims. To be enduring, they have to be unfalsifiable and thus depend on faith.

My mum worries about these things and I tell her that my entire life I have been led to believe the world is going to end and it never did. It was to end in 96, then in summer 99, then at the millennium because the electric was going to stop working or something. We did have a strange day on the 1st of January 2000. We have no electric and we spent the whole day in the house and the neighbour had water warmed up on our gas hob for a cuppa. But after that it was like oh... It's ok. Our own personal end of the world crap in 2004 -2007. Then 2012 because of the myan calendar, then terrorist attacks and of course never ending threats of WW3 and of course being LDS and being told Jesus is coming and it's the end of times and you'll meet Jesus in your lifetime in a lot of patriarchal blessings... There comes a point where you need to think screw it, if I spend my whole life being scared and it doesn't happen then I've worried for nothing. If it happens it happens.
