One other thing, Howard Coray (mentioned in the OP list) turned out to be a pretty good guy and confidant/friend of Joseph Smith. After the 'accident' Joseph felt bad enough about it that he did what he could to take care of him. They both liked to wrestle.

He ended up with nine kids as a result of a promise/prophesy Joseph made to him. He served multiple missions. He was ordained and Elder and later a High Priest. He was a clerk and helped compile early Church history. He migrated to the west and lived in Utah until his death in 1908.

As I said in my response at the end of the previous page on this thread (oops, am I repeating myself?), there is always more to the story. More context, more to flesh out.

Folks, you can't make this stuff up. The Afore is actually attempting to rewrite his long history of well-documented bullying and sadistic behavior as a narrative of personal persecution. Incredible.

Classic self-deprecation combo with victimology 101. Throw in a dash of obvious narcissism, a smattering of false narrative, and voila - DCP to a T.

Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

My hope is that when a list such as the one posted in the OP is put up that people take the time to go back and read the stories/accounts in more context and then determine for themselves whether a 'list' really proves anything at all...except for the machinations of the author of the list.

I brought up Corey. Hopefully others will go and do some research and determine whether or not Joseph's interaction with him was a net positive or net negative. And whether Corey's interaction/words led Joseph to do what he did with evil/malevolent intent, as was the goal/purpose of the original poster/creator of the OP to portray/convince.

So many things in life are like that. Net positives/net negatives. Pros and cons. Opposition in all things. Choosing faith or choosing doubt.

Right. An example of choosing doubt:

You're a pessimist and a doubter, a negative Nancy without a shred of faith. When it comes to anyone else's beliefs but your own.

So all these comments you make are pretty worthless. You basically say, "I think I'm right" over and over again, which we already know.

I would say that the means to salvation and the nature/being of God are things that one might want to look at the various options/ideas for belief. As a result, yes, there will be some doubts that occur. For example, looking at Calvinism, that creates some doubts in my mind as to the qualities...and even reality... of a God who would seem to be severely lacking the quality of love in its truest sense.

I think you are being a bit reductionist. All or nothing.

thank you, in other words, it's pointless to frame your crusade in terms of "belief" vs. "doubt"

People who doubt "the big guy" you believe in -- and you're really unsure it seems about what you actually believe -- are experiencing the "some doubt" credits you only apply to your own account.

If you want your version of deity accepted you can't just "call it" and say those capable of faith are the ones who agree with you -- everyone has made the same call for their own version. You need to present your argument for why your beliefs are better. Of course, you quickly back down and admit you can't. (it's true, you aren't very good at it, but it's also true that you're incredibly lazy and so maybe you'd do okay if you put real effort into it.)

That’s nice. However. I’d like to see your references that have lead you to assert as fact that Howard Coray liked to wrestle. Thanks in anticipation.

This proves MG’s statement to be a baseless assertion
On occasion, the Prophet even challenged much smaller individuals we might consider to be the more non-athletic type to wrestle with him. Unfortunately one such contest ended with Joseph’s breaking Howard Coray’s leg. The incident occurred when the Prophet said:
“Brother Coray, I wish you was a little larger, I would like to have some fun with you.” I replied, perhaps you can as it is,—not realizing what I was saying—Joseph a man over 200ibs in weight, while I scarcely weighed 130ibs., made it not a little ridiculous for me to think of engaging with him in anything like a scuffle. However, as soon as I made this reply, he began to trip me; he took some kind of a lock on my right leg, from which I was unable to extricate it. [A]nd throwing me around, broke it some 3 inch (es) above the ankle joint. He immediately carried me to the house pulled off my boot, and found, at once, that my leg was decidedly broken; then got some splinters and bandaged it. A number of times that day he did come into see me, endeavoring to console me as much as possible. (Coray 9)
The anecdote shows that Smith liked to pick on much smaller men. Smith was an arrogant show-off and a bully. Coray was a victim of Smith’s bullying.

MG would likely assert that female victims of domestic violence “liked to box”.
