Did the Nephites Use Canes?

Canes aren’t necessarily used only for medical reasons. They can be decorative, such as in the case of Mr. Peanut. I can’t help but wonder why the Afore seemingly takes such issue with the idea of using a cane.

A fancy one, along with a monocle, could also be used to to signal social status or authority. Brigham Young himself walked with a cane made from the wood of Joseph's coffin. So to me it's plausible largely based on a desire to bill oneself as important.

side note: canes can also be used in a threatening manner.

I think the top of the cane had a receptacle with Joseph's hair in it.

I’m with Peterson on this one. Posting a comment about seeing Peterson using a cane, when it transpired he didn’t do any such thing, is lying to the board. I don’t think that’s right. Parody and spoof, fine. But make it clear that it’s parody or spoof.

I'm afraid you have misinterpreted what Doctor Everybody Wang Chung originally posted and have misjudged his careful wording. So also, has Peterson misjudged. Wang-baby was speaking in future tense and more or less prophesying® that Peterson will eventually need a cane to steady his oversized frame from falling over during future Bowdlerizing Brigham videos in which everyone would holler loudly and laugh at the tumbling fat man!

When DCP soon succumbs to diabetes, heart disease, or one of the many obesity-related cancers, after a life of treating his mortal body like a punching bag and looking like death warmed over, even having to rely on a cane just to walk around in his Bowdlerizing Brigham videos, we should all honor his memory appropriately.

lol, too funny! i missed it completely, even after Doc's most generous hint.

DP diet has its shortcomings but it may be more healthy than 15 pages of re chewing folks frustration with the continuing life of some guy in Utah.

None of us are walking with a cane.
