by the way, I do regret making the comment about bob's wife thinking about England. That was said in a moment of anger. I apologize to bob for that, but not for the rest of my observations about the "Ms. Scratch" incident.

The point really is that Bob regularly calls people out for being, in his terms, "anonymous cowards," when he has posted anonymously plenty, and when he doesn't, puts himself and his family in the precarious position of having entirely too much in real life information available to anyone with a keyboard.

beastie wrote:"lawyer bob" clearly lied in that he accused ME of being the one who revealed personal information about his family. The only personal information I mentioned had already been revealed - that he has a wife and seven kids. The only "information" I "revealed" in this post was that his wife laid back and thought of England in order to endure sex with bob, a misogynist.

The problem is that I didn't realize I was revealing personal information about bob's wife with this statement. I really, really, did not know that she laid back and thought of england in order to endure sex with misogynist lawyer bob. I was just making a bad joke. a mean joke. Had I known that bob's wife really DID lay back and think of england in order to endure sex with bob, then I would realize that he would think I was revealing personal information in order to hurt him. I promise that I did not obtain this information somehow by "stalking" bob and his wife. I do not know bob's wife, I do not know anyone else who knows bob's wife who could have conveyed this information to me. It seems bob suspects his wife has shared this information with someone else, hence, allowing me to "stalk" and find it out, but really, it was just a lucky guess.

Now, if bob doesn't really think that his wife laying back and thinking of england was personal information I obtained through "stalking", and knows that this wasn't meant to convey real information about his family at all, then he is deliberately lying in order to slander me. And has no guilty conscience about doing so. Hmmm, now, what psychological disorder does THAT sound like?

Oh dear. How did I miss all this the first time around? England?? ROTFL. Beastie, that was very bad of you, very bad. Bad bad Beastie. Accurate guessing aside, I'm sure Crock is a decent lover, at least as LDS lovers go... which isn't saying much, but still... mediocrity cannot be condemned. It is, after all, a step up from Bad. He provides for his family, he is a leader in his ward, he attends the temple. These are admirable things. Not everyone is lucky enough to actually excel as a lover, but I'm sure Crock tries.

England???? Oh my. I'll never be able to look a British man in the eye again!

Well, I can't take credit for it, as much as I'd like to. Supposedly this was the advice Queen Victoria gave her to one of her daughters in regards to her impending marital "duties". I suppose I should have updated it and said "lay back and think of the temple" instead.

Honestly who cares? Both my wife and I graduated magna cum laude from the Y. Sure it ain't summa, but then again I don't think anyone cares about either one. All they care about is what research we did at school, what our professors thought of us, and most importantly what job experience and performance we currently have. No, the guy I know who actually went to Harvard is definately smarter than me, and I doubt anyone cares that he wasn't cum laude (at least I don't think so). I probably would have had a hard time graduating from Harvard assuming of course I could even get in (which I couldn't).

No one cares, except that he lied on his resume, and when caught, changed it.

The fact that this was an online bio posted on his law firm's website (not just any law firm, but a major international law firm in which Mr. Crockett is a partner) made it at very least an awkward moment.

I absolutely agree, and this was why I brought up the unfortunate incident to begin with.

Bob will predictably respond that bank robbers wear masks, yadayadayada, but a more apt analogy is that it would be irresponsible to not protect one's family by locking the door at night. Yeah, it would be nice if we lived in a perfect world where locks and anonymous internet screen names were not necessary, but we're better off dealing with reality.

I recently had to go to a work inservice regarding private internet use. The first words out of their mouths were: DO NOT USE YOUR REAL NAME on the internet, and then they showed us just how quickly anyone can find out where you live and your phone number with nothing more than your name.

Except, why would he lie about something nobody would care about in the first place? That was my point. I think it more likely that an honest mistake was made.

It's called padding a resume.

He's probably into that "revolutionary" sex, that's where he is a "minuteman"!

At least, Mrs. Crocket wouldn't have to think about England for very long.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

I don't know anything about that, but I just feel sorry for her having to clean all those (7) bathrooms.
