Sock Puppet,

If reasonableness and quality of thought are the criteria by which posts should be judged, I'm willing to have mine above pitted against your response any day. Let readers of good will and open minds compare them and see which comes out on top by these standards.

Cheers,

Don

Children of H1B visa holders dominate Intel Science Talent Search in USA
Wednesday, 25th May 2011
A report, released Monday by the nonpartisan National Foundation for American Policy, found that about two-thirds of the finalists at the Intel Science Talent Search -- the Nobel Prize of high school science -- were born to parents who hailed from either China or India.
Only 12 of 40 finalists at this year's competition -- a national contest based on solutions to scientific problems -- had parents who were born in America.
"The benefit America derives from the children of immigrants in science and math is an additional advantage the country reaps from being open to talent from around the world," said author Stuart Anderson, director of the organization and a former head of policy at the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
The results are evident in Silicon Valley classrooms: Children of immigrant parents, particularly those with skills-based H-1B visas, are abundant in the top tiers of academia.

If it is so plainly obvious what a fraud Mormonism is, why is it so popular?

So, if Mormonism were less of a fraud, then it would be even more popular? Interesting argument.

How true would Mormonism have to be for everyone to believe it?

Yes, the tact that they've each taken in posting in this thread has revealed more of the answer despite their verbal protestations here to the contrary.

On second thought, I repent of making a blanket statement like that when I'm primarily annoyed with Simon, and secondarily with Stem, and a little with Asbestos. Onondagus makes some good points and I like his approach. If he's incorrigible, it's incorrigible in a nice way. Still, your OP stands as the facts of the matter, albeit a tad tacky.

Don't go changin' ...

It was just your trying to help Simon out of the "brights" thing that annoyed me. I'm the trivial type.

What happens in chat, stays in chat.

Liz, I demand you take Stak to the goddess suite for a lesson. Be sure to use the electric chains this time. I want to be sure Stak never forgets [contents of chat session deleted]. Be sure to duct tape his mouth shut so he understands that our lips must remain sealed bout chat once we leave it.

Oh, and Stak. I don't have any personal against your comments. I'm just trying to make sure the rest of my fan club here doesn't take it seriously, get jealous, and start a board meltdown. I tried to explain that to you, but the stupid chat software kept kicking me off.
