Re: The Name of the TRUE Church
The Book of Mormon does not mention everything and all the animals in the world since the world began. That is not its purpose. It is interesting to me how the anti's criticize something (like the barley before), and then when they are proven wrong they look for something else (like the horses), and when they are proven wrong again, it never dawns on them that maybe the book is true; they just wait for something else to use to attack!

Sorry old bean:
You said that because Horses were on the American continent way before the Book of Mormon era then one could reasonably surmise that they were there during the Book of Mormon era.
I said that because Dinosaurs were on the American continent way before the Book of Mormon era then one could reasonably surmise that they were there during the Book of Mormon era.
You then tried to dodge that inescapable logic by suggesting that the Book of Mormon authors neglected to mention T-Rex or Brontosaurus but did mention horses. (Please don't go down the 'Dinosaurs were extinct by then' route because you would then have to explain why Horses weren't extinct by then and we know how that will end up).
You have NOT provided proof of horses during the claimed Book of Mormon era.
I would now like to see your proof of Barley in America during the Book of Mormon era.
I would also like you show us where the events in The Book of Mormon took place and wether the Prophet Joseph was correct in identifying New York state as the location for the Hill Cumorah.
Once you've done those things we can move on to examine how the contents of the King James Version of the Bible were written down (including errors) by Nephite scribes...

Have you read that book 'evidences for the Book of Mormon' or something similar, it's a picture book rather than a big book of words?
The author claims through the study of the local geology, there are layers of alkalinity or lime deposits, he believes that is proof of all the great battles in the Book of Mormon, and the lime deposits are caused by all the scattered bones from all the dead.
LMAO!

God has a disintegration ray gun. He uses it to erase evidence so that we can live by faith.

You misquoted me Drifting. It has been established that there were horses on the American continent during the Book of Mormon times. It has not been established that there were dinosaurs during that time.

I second the CFR and would also like to know the SIZE of said horses.
The last time I was at the museum they showed me horse remains that were the size of a small dog or house cat.

And yet you have provided no, that's NO, supporting evidence to this belief. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero.
Put up or...well, you know the phrase. It's been said to you many times.
Coe on, embarass yourself further and tell us, specifically what it is that you consider to be proof of 'horses on the American continent during Book of Mormon times.'
I fear we are sliding into Tapir country...

Would you be any more convinced, if there were horse bones found?
which according to a post on here recently, with a youtube clip there was.
It is not evidence the book is true, it is evidence there were horses.
2 completely different things.
