God put Sodom into rehab also. It failed.
Um. Okay, I don't believe the Sodom story, but for the sake of argument.
CFR that god put Sodom into rehab and that it failed for the entire population, including children, disabled, mentally impaired, cows, chickens and puppies.
Deut 32 is one example of how God provides and the people rebel.
In reality all of us are in "rehab". We have been provided all we need to turn from sin and back to God. Some do some don't.

Then where is He?

Democratic Party Position on Abortion
"Choice. The Democratic Party stands behind the right of every woman to choose, consistent with Roe v. Wade, and regardless of ability to pay.
So state approved and funded murder and we are better off now? Really?
Maybe we need a lot of fire and brimstone on those who murder babies?
Remember scale
Oh! You mean soldiers? Or how 'bout the politicians and leaders that make the soldiers murder babies?
WAIT! I know, you actually mean GOD. He has murdered lots of peeps according to the Bible. babies, puppies, pregnant women, disabled, elderly, all kinds.

OR maybe society needs to alleviate the burden and risk associated with childbirth and rearing and make contraceptives safer, work better and accessible to all the women on the planet.

No I don't agree that judgment and consequences are murder.

Yep, those infants God slaughtered deserved the consequences of their actions.

If you embrace the flesh as what you are and nothing more then I can see why you feel that way. I believe we are not the flesh but a spirit that is enclosed in this temporary shell of flesh. On this earth I think we are to experience many things. At one time we are weak and the powerful crush us. And other times we are powerful and we are tempted to crush others. I think a balance must be maintained for the souls to experience all we need to in God's plan. It is said we must die in order to live. I think those words are true. We must give up this shell of flesh and walk in the spirit in order to live. I think all those who won't let go of the flesh live in the flesh over and over. Something like groundhog day except we don't carry the memories from one life to another. Since God cares for the soul and not the flesh it should be expected that entire populations at one time or another die off in order to maintain a balance between darkness and light.
To me death in the flesh is not death. To me life is when we learn what we need and become a spiritual creature so this world is not useful anymore. Then we move to places beyond the earth and the flesh so we can truly live. I think that much of the New Testament speaks of this. If you love the flesh I suspect you will get all you can handle. One day you may look beyond this world to another and see the big picture, or maybe not.
