Did you forget about Nephi prophesying of Columbus and Europeans coming? Nephi said the Europeans were white "like unto my people".

1 Nephi 13:15 And I beheld the Spirit of the Lord, that it was upon the Gentiles, and they did prosper and obtain the land for their inheritance; and I beheld that they were white, and exceedingly fair and beautiful, like unto my people before they were slain.

Why me,

Here you go: https://www.LDS.org/scriptures/Book of Mormon/2-ne/5?lang=eng
From 2Nephi 5 verse 21.
21 And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.

He didn't so much 'miss it' as 'walk by on the other side of the road avoiding eye contact' with it.

I think that I need a shrink:

Have a nice read, especially page 9-10. Notice how often white and black are mentioned in the scriptures.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world.

Unofficial source, sorry you fail...again.

Now why don't you post for us some of the highlights from your unofficial sources that you think are relevant to 'Racism in the Book of Mormon'.

You won't though, will you...

I read this on page 9 "If one were to study the Old and New Testament, Book of Mormon and Doctrine & Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price, they would understand that the words “black” and “white” were not used in reference to skin color in either of these sacred works."

The FAIR blacklds.org tell African Americans these untruths. Meanwhile, racist toys are being sold to Mormons about Native Americans. There is a before and after, white and dark skin.

Why Me, let me help you out. Here's another 'unofficial' apologetic explanation from Brant Gardner.

http://www.fairlds.org/authors/gardner- ... -blackness

Here Brant argues that skin in fact does not equal skin and blackness does not equal blackness.

Hopefully you spotted the passage that Tapirrider referred to:

1 Nephi 13:15 And I beheld the Spirit of the Lord, that it was upon the Gentiles, and they did prosper and obtain the land for their inheritance; and I beheld that they were white, and exceedingly fair and beautiful, like unto my people before they were slain.

In terms of Brant's logic, that would mean that 'white' didn't mean 'white' and 'fair' didn't mean 'fair' and 'beautiful' didn't mean 'beautiful'.
