Rollo Tomasi wrote:Yup, this admission sure seems an obvious violation of the Church's records policy. DCP took a list of customers from one of his commercial ventures, gave it to a bishop friend, and the bishop then accessed an LDS Church document (i.e., leadership directory) and checked each name on DCP's customer list to determine whether any name on that list matched a name in the Church's document. This violates so many parts of Section 13.8 in Handbook 1, that this bishop MUST be released IMMEDIATELY.

So is the Bishop still a Bishop?

My three favorite cowbell songs:

1-Rolling Stones, Honky Tonk Women

2-Blue Oyster Cult, Don't Fear the Reaper

3-Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adventures of Raindance Maggie.
Because even cowbells get the blues, here is some more classic cowbell:

Pink Floyd, Young Lust
ACDC, Hell's Bells
Santana, Oye Como Va
Talking Heads, Once in a Lifetime
Aerosmith, Walk This Way
Eath, Wind, and Fire, September
Wild Cherry, Play That Funky Music

My favorite cowbell songs are, which one makes the top of my list changes depending on mood and activity.

1-Nazareth. Hair of the Dog

2-War, Low Rider

3-Def Leppard, Rock of Ages

4-Lipps Inc, Funkytown

Liz, perhaps you could ask Dan about this on your private board? There is no way he'll tell us here. Thanks in advance.

And gosh, if he doesn't know he could just have someone look it up.

I very much doubt that is information he is inclined to share, even on our board.

So, the status of someone as a current bishop or not is information that Dan guards as not for public consumption?

Interesting, indeed.

But, but, but,.....bishop information is public information so why wouldn't Dan share

And it is threatening to know that bishops search the records for friends.

Not really that interesting at all. I don't really understand why you are having a hard time "getting" this.

Dan has been stalked by a member of this board for the past six years. Do you really think he wants to expose a friend of his to the possibility of the same treatment? I wouldn't.
