I'm not talking about your probation officer, your sex therapist, or any of your marriage counselors, I'm speaking only of those here who have debated you and been made aware, in no uncertain terms, of your views.[/qote]

No, those would be Beastie, Trinity, and Jersey Girl. (they all know me in real life, Loran, something you will never be able to say).

Uh huh. Ya know, you make the church look bad, Loran. For one such as yourself to be a member just puts chills down the spines of the pure in heart.

But since you don't believe in the Church or its teachings, what does this matter to you?

On the contrary, I love the church, and it's got some teachings that are spot on, in my opinion. It's also got some teachings that are keeping it from being the wonderful institution it could be, but no doubt the powers that be are keeping track of what is said here, so maybe we'll see some positive changes at some point in the future.

I don't really understand the frothing reaction to this thread.

That should be a luscious reaction to this thread.

Froth comes later...

I mean, it's a LDS board so when sexuality is discussed it will revolve about LDS, right?

No. I don't see why we can't talk about Quaker sex positions or Roman Catholic BDSM. Let it all hang out baby YEAH!

Now, Harmony has pretty much only sampled LDS females,

Good Heavens! now we find out that Harmony is a lesbian. Well, that explains her wicked feminist streak...

I wonder if the sampled sisters have Temple recommends...

This is, from stem to stern, exactly the rhetoric used by Mr. Scratch.

It is not your church. It is not your Gospel. You do not get to choose its doctrines, teachings, or counsel on various subjects. When the majority of faithful LDS decide that we want to be members of the Church of Harmony, we will let you know. In the mean time, Jesus Christ is a viable alternative for us. We are eating at the feast, not the cafeteria. The crumbs from that table are yours for the taking.

Keep up the pose Harmony, keep up the pose.

Coggies, I'm always luscious. Has nothing to do with this thread. I am not frothy, nor do I become frothy when I discuss sexuality. To me it's a big ole yawner for the most part when it comes to titillation. I think it's interesting to discuss in an ADULT manner, yet frothy is not something I become from much of anything on these boards. Believe you me.

I mean, it's a LDS board so when sexuality is discussed it will revolve about LDS, right?

Well, I'm not privy to these sexual positions or issues. Please do elaborate. ;) (and just in case you don't geddit --- I'm joking)

Are you just trying to derail the thread? Do you have nothing of substance really to offer? What advice would you give to those ladies that discussed their issues with Harmony?

And while your posing, perhaps you could answer the following questions, selected from the Temple recommend interview (italicized portions are of specific interest):

1. Do you believe in God, the Eternal Father, in his Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost; and do you have a firm testimony of the restored gospel?

2. Do you sustain the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the prophet, seer, and revelator; and do you recognize him as the only person on the earth authorized to exercise all priesthood keys?

3. Do you sustain the other General Authorities and the local authorities of the Church?

4. Do you live the law of chastity?

6. Do you affiliate with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or do you sympathize with the precepts of any such group or individual?

7. Do you earnestly strive to do your duty in the Church; to attend your sacrament, priesthood, and other meetings; and to obey the rules, laws, and commandments of the gospel?

8. Are you honest in your dealings with your fellowmen?

9. Are you a full-tithe payer?

10. Do you keep the Word of Wisdom?

12. If you have received your temple endowment -- (a) Do you keep all the covenants that you made in the temple? (b) Do you wear the authorized garments both day and night?

Yah....since when have I ever been known to STFU? At least I'm forthright about my lying. :-) Not meaning to drive this off topic but you clearly stated that I know you in real life. Yes, I have touched harmony with my own little hands. harm, will you testify publicly to my inherent niceness? Loran seems to think LSD is a mean spirited woman. You met LSD, she's nice, right? I mean besides the ability to kick verbal butt, she's really really nice...right, harm?

I am so misunderstood.

Regrouping here.

Okay, could you at least testify to the fact that my mean-ness is a manifestation of my inherent nice-ness?

No one "gets" me around here. Seriously, I am the most misunderstood person in this community.

You have an inherent niceness that is easily seen by those who have the discernment to see it. Loran, unfortunately, is severely lacking in the necessary discernment, for this and for virtually every other topic he has ever touched. Alas, pity is an appropriate reaction to Loran's bluster.

And if I ever get back in your neck of the woods, I'll give you a jingle and we'll do lunch!
