I'm not sure what assaults you are referring to, but this is yet another example of your creative employment of hyperbolic and disparaging verbs. For the record, here are the two messages I sent to Gad:

I think this suffices to diffuse the "assault" language you employ, which I believe is rather silly and childish. I admit feeling a little silly myself even responding to it.

No, LoaP. You have to bear in mind the context, which is that you have a history of pestering people, moderator edit by harmony: rule #3Sorry, but this is a result of your own actions. It's like this: a playful shove from most people would probably be seen as just that--playful. But, a "playful" shove from the 6' 7" 300-lb. convicted-of-multiple-aggravated-assaults ex-con is probably not going to be seen as "playful."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't LOAP pester Gadianton with an unbelievable barrage of moderator edit by harmony: rule #3

If Gad was teasing, we can all smile.

If he did present, it must have been a very nice presentation.

I think you really did miss something, td. In light of the fact that Daniel Peterson has been repeatedly accused of lying and deceiving on this board, the point of these exchanges (in my view) is one of noting the irony of Gad's claim.

I suppose that had there not been unrelenting accusations leveled against Daniel Peterson on this board for something near to three years, it could be taken as "teasing".

Or do you think Scratch has been "teasing" Daniel for three years and that Daniel should smile about it?

I'm not seeing it that way, though I don't claim to read anyone's mind around here.

While some may see Gad's claim as a reflection of the failure of apologetics to deliver the goods, it's a shame that he needed to resort to lying and deception in order to deliver his own goods.

Thus, the irony.

My take.

You mischaracterize me, and quite decisively so. With you it seems "context" refers to your own rather distorted opinion on things.

I've never been perfect in online interactions, but your description is so wide of the mark it is as though you are referring to someone else entirely. Granted when I began posting at this board I wasn't averse to making fun or acting like a jerk at times. For that I honestly apologize. Over time my view of online interactions have changed a lot, I have learned a lot from these various boards, which are generally now becoming less and less interesting to me. Not that I am "better" than the people that still enjoy posting there, but that I am becoming more interested in other types and subjects of discussion.

Every time you defend yourself in these exchanges, you succeed in falling for the hooks he's throwing out to you.

It's not about truth or reason. It's about keeping you engaged and jerking you around.

Do you know what "wag the dog" means? That's what it's about. If it's any help to you at all to know there are very few posters in this community who fail to see it for what it is, LoaP. Those who do fail to see it for what it is, haven't been paying attention.

Thanks, Jersey Girl, and you make a good point. It seems the internet personality Scratch creates so consistently does enjoy such exchanges, however odd it might seem to me. It was still nice to get that particular point off my chest, and let folks no I bear no ill will towards anyone here. I haven't posted here in quite a while and I'll probably slip back into obscurity and darkness soon enough. ;)

Of course he enjoys it. The next thing you'll see is a characterization about how, in a trembling and fearful panic, you flailed about desperately trying to defend youself.

Good grief, I can write it myself by now.

Indeed! I should note, then, I will not be responding to Scratch here or in any public forum any further for the present. I still await Gad's yes or no responses to my simple questions.

LOL. So can I. It's pretty formulaic.

It would be nice, though, to see Gadianton's response to LOAP's simple, non-invasive questions.

You won't? Years from now, I will well remember the time when LoaP, moderator edit by harmony: rule #3, was so shaken to the bone with fear and panic by being called on the carpet for his outrageous bullyism, that the coward had to bail out.
