I have good news. I spoke with Derrick not 5 minutes ago and he sounds good. We had a great conversation about how he's doing and the challenges he is facing.

I will be having a meal with Derrick tomorrow. I will send additional information to those who have PMd me.

Seth

Thanks for all of this, Seth.

Darrick has read this thread and is moved by the kind words that have been spoken.

Cool!

Excellent news. So, you have found him.

I will keep up with this on Facebook from here on out.

It's also AWESOME that you were kind enough to bring Darrick's troubles to everyone's attention. BIG kudo's to you and Seth.

Sorry, if you said how you found the article, I missed it. How did you first come by this information?
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I was just being nosy, mostly. :)

Actually, on Tuesday someone in another thread mentioned Darrick and it made me curious about what he was up to. I did a Google search on a whim and quickly found the article.

To be completely honest, when I posted the OP it did not occur to me that anything could be done to help him. Credit for that should be given to Stak (who first proposed that something should be done), you, Seth, and several others who really got the ball rolling. You guys/gals are awesome.

Friends,

Darrick is doing well and appreciates all of the kind words expressed on this thread.

Some help has been provided a little help to get him through this rough patch. Darrick is a great guy with a big heart.

Thanks so much for the update seth. If there are rewards given somewhere for such actions, you will be at the front of the line.

Is there any more news? Do you think he is now getting the help he needs? Is there anything else that we (the board) can do?

Thanks for the kind words, Quasimodo.

A few things are in motion -- most of which I can't disclose publicly. However, if there are further needs I will continue to provide updates.
