Maybe I'm going nuts, but I thought Tvedtnes put up a pretty decent defense of FARMS there. I do not entirely agree with everything he says, but in some cases I think he carried the day.

What would make me feel better is if you stopped your campaign of smearing people with scant evidence, speculation, innuendo and hyperbole. But I don't have high expectations that you will do this. You have your little fan club and cheer leading section that you love to perform for. But I am confident most rational and reasonable people will see you for what you are-a gossiping rumormongerer.

I confess that I don't know. Either of those possibilities seems plausible to me.

You're not going nuts. One thing I'll say for Vedtnes is that he has an extraordinary eye for detail.

What do you make of this? Now, you believe in God, right? And if you believe in God, you must believe the Church has crossed his radar given its relative success. And if the Church is one of his forces for the general good of mankind, and if FARMS and FAIR are the largest apologetic representations of the Church, then don't you think it's possible that Scratch has been sent by the Lord to harrow up the apologists unto a remembrance of their sins? To cleanse and sanctify those who would be careless in representing the most holy and reverent Lord of Hosts?
