Male Mormons, Ex-Mormons, and Non-Mormons.
Re: Male Mormons, Ex-Mormons, and Non-Mormons.
I posted this on the Telestial thread, but I think it is worth repeating here:
This is my analysis of the situation, which may or may not be of value to anyone:
1. Cam should not have attacked Ms. Jack; my preference would be that we ALL stop attacking one another, so this view is given in that vein.
2. Attacking someone else's family is very much "below the belt", and I am glad that we have initiated the rule that this is intolerable.
3. Ms. Jack's purposeful mentioning of Cam's in real life information was also very much "below the belt". And, I think that in one sense, it was worse as far as board rules go, because it was going against a rule that was already very well established. I feel very strongly that there should be a huge separation between board happenings and posters' in real life issues.
4. I can understand why Ms. Jack felt "driven" to her outburst because Cam had been "pushing buttons" and been intensely harrassing her for quite a while. However, that doesn't make what Ms. Jack did right, and I think that she knows that.
5. I think that both parties know where they went wrong, and we should simply move on.

This is getting really old.
I apologized for what I did ten days ago and agreed not to do it anymore. And so far, I've kept my promise. And I'm really starting to have a very low opinion of the people who continue to bring this up so long after I apologized and stopped doing it (who never seem to mention the fact that I apologized and stopped doing it).
CamNC4Me just got done posting another round of attacks on my husband and my marriage last night. His apology was fake. He wasn't sorry and had no intention of stopping. All I can say is that I'm eternally grateful that there are now board rules in place where he can get time off for pulling this crap.
Had honorentheos, marg, CamNC4Me and now you, liz, not re-entered the threads to criticize me for something that I had already apologized for, I would have let this die a week ago. So if what you want is for everyone to "move on," what can I say. You're doing it wrong.

And, I will repeat my response to Ms. Jack, which she also posted on the other thread, which is the following:
I wasn't discounting the fact that you apologized' and if it seemed that way, than I am sorry. I was simply giving my overall analysis of the whole situation. And, you and Marg have been slinging this whole issue back and forth for several pages, so don't try to put the blame on me for bringing this up.
ETA--I have as much right as anyone to share my thoughts.

EDIT: I'm going to edit this post to only include the material not duplicated in Telestial. The rest of my response is here:

Yes, you do. I'm just frustrated that people continue to bring up the one thing that I did wrong in the entire four-month-long saga of Cam harassing me. Especially having had to endure a fresh round of attacks on my husband and my marriage last night (A+++ to Shades on moderating that).

Let me add kudos to Shades on the moderating. A thankless job well done! :-)
I think that we basically understand where we are coming from with each other, and have come to resolution in the other thread.
I understand your frustration; I wasn't trying to briing up the in real life thing to purposely discredit you, personally.
My main point is that anyone can fall into the trap of being driven to referring to in real life information. You are a respected poster, and, in my opinion, one of the more even-handed posters on the board. If you, as such, can be driven to this, then anyone can! :-)
I think it is important to reiterate that the in real life offfense is serious, and should not be violated by ANYONE. It will ALWAYS be corrected, and is not right no matterr who engages in it.

So is this part of your harassment campaign to lie, distort, misrepresent what I say?
You are the one who not only condones harassment but you deliberately target individuals and made that known.
What exactly are you accusing me of?

I am accusing you of open knavery and skullduggery. And for supporting the abuse of MsJack,

I just asked my lovely spouse her opinion on a similar situation... YOU... YOU are dragging [deleted] into the matter if YOU bring his attention to the post.
See folks? Crazy.
