Recent posts by Beastie, Eillusion, and others suggest that there continues to be an undercurrent of long-held disdain and/or resentment felt towards me.

And, since many here believe venting is a viable road to health and recovery, I thought I would start a thread where those so inclined can empty whatever bial is in their soul, and get any ill-feelings towards me out of their system.

Feel free to invite RFMers and people from other ex-mo boards who I may have offended, repelled, and/or engendered ill-sentiments. Let's make this the mother of all smear-fests, with me as the object of derision.

If you wish, you can recount whatever you believe to be the worst things you have observed me doing or saying, or the most evident things you believe are wrong with me and what I have done on boards like this. You can even invent stuff if that suits your fancy. From that we can construct a Top Ten list.

What say we cut the monster that is me down to size. Don't hold back (as if I need to teel you). ;-)

Wade, in my opinion, ain't nothing "wrong" with you. This is a person who has sermonized to you on one occasion, and argued with you plenty. I'm sure you're a good guy. You just tend to judge a bit too much. Anyone who doesn't agree with your view of the church has something mentally or emotionally wrong with them, it's always the exmo that needs fixing. That's far from true. I would hope you know this. There are plenty of well-rounded and intelligent people here. Stop assuming that they're broken inside because they don't agree with the tenets of the LDS church.

Sure, some are more angry in their expressions than others. Me, I've pretty much let it all go. I don't have much to say about it anymore, even the subject of racism. I just don't want to argue about anything anymore. Too tired. But there are still people here for whom the subject of Mormonism is still a hot topic, and they deserve to be able to discuss it without you assuming they're mental. By the way, what happened to your support website.

Lay off that (thinking all exmos are nuts) and I'll give you a cookie. Made from scratch, which is a feat for me.

If I loose your friendship over this, then you will likely ostricize me forever when learning that in addition to not being prone to grabbing my crotch with a fierce look of determination on my face, I simply won't do so while also gyrating my right leg (Elvis style) to the rythmatic beat of distant drums.

So, not only will I have to content myself in living without a good woman (as harmony suggests), but I am sadded to learn that I will also forever lose such a good male friend as yourself--though, I suppose such is rightfully the spurned and happless lot of the reviled.

Yes...in a variety of ways.

But, your question is entirely beside the point of this thread--which, in spite of protestations to the contrary, is not intended for my benefit (though I have derived incidental benefit), but for the benefit of those who harbor negative sentiments against me--particularly those whose disdain causes them to periodically toss off-topic slurs in my direction. I desire to provide them with some relief from their apparent compultion to sneer, if not also offer them a chance to heal in the way they believe healing may come about.

Good to hear from you again. I hope all is going well for you.

If it is of any consolation, from what little I have observed of you over the last half year or so, I do believe that you have "let it go", and have moved on. I can't even recall the last time you participated in group pilling on me, let alone disrupted a thread with a personal sneer in my direction. And, even though I am modestly puzzled with your telling me there is nothing wrong with me, and then proceeding to list several things you see as wrong with me, I am not sure there is much value in your participating on this thread, except perhaps in setting a good example of what real healing looks like--that is, unless you wish to join in the good-natured fun at my expense.

As for the cookies you made from scratch, my mouth is watering for them, but I know that I am not worthy to have any since it is likely that some exmo's here will believe that I think they are nuts and am "laying on" them--though I do appreciate the offer.
