Re: A question about Fawn Brodie
I get the feeling Gad has no idea how so-called apologists have "used" Kuhn, or anything along that line. It appears to be a game of "heads I win, tails you lose" yet again.

Translation: I am a mindless git and I pick my nose and eat it.
I didn't want to come out and say it, but yah.
Changing people's words is easy. It doesn't make them true, however.
Keep that in mind the next time you do so.
Translation of Gad: I somehow managed to miss LOP's repeated declarations that he knows a little bit about Kuhn, has read some papers on Kuhn unrelated to religion, and has read several chapters of Kuhn's book Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Either that, or I am calling him a liar.
Why do you present yourself as the Kuhn authority? Oh, that's right...because you are an [MODERATOR NOTE: Personal attack deleted].
I'm also a stupid git.
Yes you are, SOAP. Yes you are.

Re: A question about Fawn Brodie
I get the feeling Gad and merc do not actually know how so-called apologists have "misused" Kuhn, or even how they've used Kuhn at all.

Did you miss that I was actually translating your comments, not my own? Or is this a continuation of the neener neener game I started to point out the futile nature of the conversation we are having.

I, too, was disturbed at Merc's self-revealing post. It speaks much of the desires of the anti-mopologists and their apologetic desires/tendencies.
[Isn't this uncharitable and excessively literal application of Gad's comment, to his expense and shame, fun?]

But I'm not in a corner, and I haven't been painted in. I've repeatedly asked questions of you (and answered your questions) only to have you respond with insults. So the ball is still in your court and the questions remain unanswered.

The futility of responding in full to your inane blathering is overwhelming.

OK, but really it only shows that you don't know anything about Kuhn, and so-called apologists use of his theories. Duly noted.
