Indeed, that is a favorite part and Simon has a firm grasp on it. Isn't that right, Simon?

Poor--stupid, Joseph Smith. He didn't know what he was seeing sitting on the throne of the Hypocephalus. Would Joseph Smith have grabbed God by his stick of Judah. Ouch!

The Mormon church should wave flags of God's stick of Judah from the steeples of the temple. That way everyone can look at the nakedness of God, compliments of the Mormon church and their stupid prophets.

I ask you again: who insists that someone PM them with their in real life information in order to engage in discussion?

He asked for it via PM, and clearly you chickened out.

Why did he ask for it? Does he not understand that this is a message board, where people post and discuss things?

I have to admit that it's very strange that you have been plugging yourself as of late as someone who easily admits to his own shortcomings and failures. And yet look at you now! Doing semantic backflips in a desperate attempt to avoid admitting to your rancid behavior.

I admit when I am wrong. I am not wrong here. I was very polite and cordial to Metcalfe. You say it was "faux politeness" but you cannot read my mind. I honestly wanted to know about his educational background, so I asked. He could have said "Sorry, I don't divulge such information, but I'll discuss with you anything you'd like." Even you said that it is okay to "ask around." That is what I did.

That's a mischaracterization of what happened, Simon.

It absolutely is not. I posted the exact correspondence above.

You already knew the answers to your questions (as Metcalfe rightly pointed out via his reference to Bing and Google).

Now you are being very dishonest. How do you know that I "already knew?" Can you read my mind now? What do you think, I just wanted to pester the guy? Ha! I have better ways of doing that than asking about their studies in a subject.

So it seems to me that you can either admit that you were interested primarily in needling him, or that you were too afraid to PM him your in real life identity.

I ask you again: why would someone have to PM Brent with his or her in real life identity simply to speak with him? Is he really that arrogant that he must have full cooperation to his made-up rules or he flutters away like a delicate butterfly?

To claim that you were interested only in polite repartee is a bald-faced lie, and it will utterly obliterate your credibility, so for your own sake, I hope you drop the charade.

To claim that I was not interested only in polite repartee is a bald-faced lie, and it will utterly obliterate your credibility, so for your own sake, I hope you drop the charade.

Unless, of course, you have some evidence to back up this outrageous claim. I have been nothing but polite and kind to those who have been polite and kind to me.

Cowardly? Yes, perhaps. Dishonest? Yes, probably. Typical Simon Belmont behavior? Yes, most definitely.

Asking polite questions is cowardly and dishonest? Holy cow, Scratch, you are really stretching out on a limb here just to condemn me for something I am not.

So you were just being lazy, then? You're really starting to run low on poor excuses, Simon.

I do not know what you are talking about. Will you please show me, on "Bing or Google" what Brent's educational background is? Oh, not there? What a surprise. That is why I asked him. He did not have to divulge any information he did not want to, but he could have not been a jerk about it, and to back him up like you have really shows just how interested you are in being civil. Your credibility is really waning right now, Scratch.

Oh, I don't really think that you have actually "deceived" anyone. I think that the vast majority of the posters here have seen right through your facade from Day 1.

The only facade I have exists in your mind. It exists so that you can incriminate me for things I do not do.

Simon, nobody gives a sh1t about any of this now. We are talking about facsimile #2. It's my favorite part.
I'm the apostate your bishop warned you about.

Yeah, I can't begin to tell you what I'm thinking. Dr. Shades will suspend me for a whole week if I tell you what I'm thinking.

So, I'll just think it. Then I'll go do it!

Wow, Paul, what have I done to make you so angry with me? Is it simply because I am LDS? Why are we not cool, Paul?

I didn't do the Swing.

However, I was born in Los Angeles as was my father and spent my earliest years under the shadow of the temple. Shortly thereafter, I went to San Francisco and lived there for several years under the shadows of another temple. My stake center was on temple grounds.
