And you Darth are the best gold miner on this board. You seriously almost had me ROFL with this gem from earlier today:

Since we know from ancient documents that the Egyptians were trying to imitate Mormonism, but they couldn't hold the priesthood because they descended from Ham after he got off Noah's ark, why didn't they figure out that skirts are girly when Father Abraham taught them 19th-century astronomical concepts? Why didn't Abraham teach them that modern western fashion conventions are eternal truths from God?

I also wonder. I notice that Bradley is giving a presentation on temple worship in the Lost 116 Pages. Given that those pages don't exist, I wonder how he will have anything of value to say on the subject. Might as well present on architectural advances in Atlantis. Or geological formations in the caves of Agartha. Talk about irrelevancies. Is there anything on that list of FAIR presentations that appears to address anything real and substantive? This is the best they have? Peterson's screeds. Welch's tired old chiasmus foolishness? More white guys talking about how women are "partners" with men in the church? More misinformation about human sexuality? More dissembling on the Book of Abraham?

EAllusion wrote:You concurred that some sort of gang-beating occurred here, which you found wrong. Since all that occurred was multiple people chiming in to disagree - politely - the implication is here is the ratio of agreement to disagreement is something you take affront to.

I do, because that's what I see on MDDB as well. Not that I can do anything about either board, both of which once had roughly 50-50 ratios, and both have now gone to opposite extremes. The problem is that - neither sees nor acknowledges it. What you call "politely" is your biased view. What you think is "polite", may not come across that way, especially when one has read your ingrained bias:

Will is a pathological liar in a way that is different from apologetic prevarication many here are accustomed to. It will serve us well to be aware of the difference.

So what are you going to say next? That your observations are "objective and unbiased"?

You apparently have all the answers, by which you can absolutely judge who's "worth listening to".

You have become increasingly obnoxious, Ray. Perhaps you need to have your medication adjusted.

Corrected:

He may have you fooled, but he has more dogma lodged in his brain than I ever saw in any Mormon Sunday School. It's "exmos" like Darth (he may still be on the Church rolls, mind you), and Steve Benson, and all the bigots who just changed their Mormon zealotry to atheist zealotry who I'm most wary of.

Note how Darth will say, in thread after thread, how foolish, stupid and dumb Mormonism is, and when you call him an anti-Mormon - he'll strenuously object.

Cog. Diss?

"Medication". "Mentally ill". You got one hell of an "open mind". Sold out to the "groupthink". When replies don't suit your biases and prejudices - just tell the people contesting your dogma that they "need to take their medication".

Ray,

Would Will's comments be permissible if they were directed at your daughter?

You and I have clearly attended very different Sunday schools.

Steve Benson? Why are you lumping Darth in with him? I have never seen him on this board. I haven't seen anything terribly original or interesting from Benson in like 15 years. I stopped paying attention to his rants on RFM a long time ago.
