And what makes you so sure you have got it right, and everybody else who may disagree with you has got it wrong? Who is to say that they have not got it right, and you have not got it wrong?
You've been asked the same thing for months and have yet to justify your stances...... remarkable that this is coming from you, of all people..... you won't grasp the point I am making, but I assure you hundreds of the rest of us will. Now back to the subject of the thread, I think I have got it right that Joseph Smith thought he had a 3500 year old Abraham autograph, and I have SHOWN with evidence from Mormons in his day as well as himself WHY I think I am right. I am not bearing testimony, I am using Mormon evidence. Until you show it to be wrong or incorrect, I stand fully satisfied and justified in the conclusions, logically and historically deduced on what everyone can check for themselves. I have fully documented it for anyone's convenience.

Is it a faulty assumption of our understanding of what Joseph Smith thought as the LDS scholar Kevin Barney says? He is not alone of LDS apologists who find fault, imagining it’s all just an assumption in thinking Joseph Smith thought he had the actual handwriting and autograph of the biblical patriarch Abraham himself. Hugh Nibley, John Gee, Kerry Muhlestein, and Michael Dennis Rhodes are others who also disagree that Joseph Smith believed he had Abraham’s own handwriting on the papyri.
I insist that each of these apologist answer the following question:
Is it possible that Joseph Smith actually believed through his Holy Ghost that the papyrus he used to translate the Book of Abraham was a literal 3500 Year Old Abraham Autograph? Is it POSSIBLE?

[ ] Yes [ ] No
All of them are simply going to say yes. You do know that right? That dodges the bullet.

I'm still reading your chapter -- I'm a slow reader and am multitasking. For the most part I find it to be good reading. Wish you would adjust the paragraphs though as earlier suggested to make it easier on the eyes.
I've also determined through the evidence that Joseph Smith did in fact CLAIM he had the actual papyrus penned by Joseph and Abraham. Whether he actually believed that is another story. But the evidence is conclusive, Joseph Smith CLAIMED to have bona fide Egyptian documents that bore the signatures and writings of ancient Hebrew patriarchs.
Clark Goble requested I add a space between paragraphs in this research project, so I did. It was a good suggestion, thanks Clark. You can see the updated version here http://drpepaw.wixsite.com/backyardprof ... e-Evidence

It's necessary in order to objectively examine the evidence and come to the most logical conclusion without allowing religious faith (bias) to get in the way.

And that displayed irony always and forever drowns out any Holy Ghost testimony they may fervently bear to the world....... they won't ever realize that however.
