Oh my God, look what I found over on the MAD board, it's Ed getting in a fight over there a few years ago:
Robert F. Smith wrote:I don't see any apologetic value in Ed's approach, and don't know whether that is his purpose. I prefer an approach which takes account of standard Egyptology.
However, the merits of Ed's POV aside, it is very difficult to understand what he is saying at all, and without a coherent presentation he may just as well not say it at all.
EdGoble wrote:I can say without reservation that you are simply an unkind person that has nothing nice to say at all. You aren't even trying to understand, and you think you know everything.
You aren't paying attention to the fact that I have quoted Egyptologists throughout my presentation, and you are misrepresenting the facts about my presentation. Please leave. Thank you.

EdGoble wrote:They don't have to. You are doing the attacking. You can leave too. So I ask you to. You are among the unkind individuals that have always attacked me. And for that, the golden rule and the law of restoration will award you.
[moderator] You do not control who can post. Your approach has been belligerent and you will be put on limited if you make personal attacks and order posters out.
Was it now. You also value (1) Dishonesty and (2) Contention and (3) misuse of evidence and boldface and pure lies about evidence.
That stuff was awesome was it. Then I invite you also to never contact me again, neither on this thread, neither on this site, nor privately either.
You can eat a fat dick. Imma contact you so hard. Imma contact you over and over again, so, so hard. Granted, I don't know you from Adam, and I have no idea where you post, where you live, etc. But, still. Imma contact you, buddy. Like. Right now. You're being contacted. You feel that?
You've been contacted.

Hiring a part-time news entertainment anchor as SecDef, what could go wrong?
Oh yes I am, Shulem, I am! i feel pretty bad about this, because I legitimately tried to give Ed feedback, and it's become quite clear he is not able
to process that. It is a very sad situation. Having him threaten us is inexcusable. He found a place where he could be heard, and he still managed to destroy it.
I’m so grateful to Joseph Smith for the book of Abraham. Single best thing he ever did to expose his fraud.
Historical statements in the Book of Abraham about HOW and WHEN Egypt first became a nation is absolutely false. Egypt's beginnings did not take place how the Book of Abraham says it did. Joseph Smith made crap up out of thin air because he didn't know a damn thing about early Egyptian dynastic history or pre-dynastic Egyptian history that outdates the silly Jewish Bible of Noah and the 6,000 year false chronology. And then there is prehistoric Egyptian history! My freaking God, that is a slap on the face for John Gee who is stuck having to protect his pension with BYU rather than come out and confess that the origins of ancient Egypt as explained in the text of chapter one is a farce.

Chapter one of the Book of Abraham is utter crap!
But it feels ancient to DCP, so you should just trust your feelings and ignore those pesky little facts.

Daniel C. Peterson is a nincompoop school teacher with a 5th grade education on ancient Egypt. He's a complete dodo. He doesn't know jack squat about Egyptology.
And then there is John Gee. He knows. Oh yes, he knows. But his pension is more important to him then telling the truth.
