In honor of THE Captain William Morgan who tried to blow the cover of the Masons, but was killed for it. His wife later remarried and while she was remarried, she and her new hubby were befriended by old Joe. Joe noticed he would get a woodie when ever she visited so he took that as a sign from the flaming sword perv angel and took her as his second polygamist wife.


EDIT: Hmmm I wonder if it isn't all his fault? Had William Morgan not written the expose on Masons he would not have been killed, and Joe would have never got the handbook on the Masons ceremonies from Lucinda Harris, Morgans widow...

Well at least we would not have those ugly temples pocking the earth.. and many Mormons would never have had to endure the bizarre and boring at the same time...

The Book of Mormon preserved the name. Them golden plates sat on a hill for hundreds of years through rain, snow, sun, and storm after storm. It's a wonder the plates and stone box didn't slide off the hill.

Constantine was important, but the degree to which his influence was crucial is debated. Christianity might be a remembered but dead religion without Constantine, whereas it would probably have been both dead and forgotten without Paul.

I am not sure why you are asking me these other questions.

You got me thinking. Does the good we do actually help us in the afterlife if we apostatize or sin without repenting? I always assumed that doing good was a duty and that by not doing good we were committing sins of mission. No extra credit for good deeds (or anything else) since we must all strive to do all we can to serve God.

And yet, maybe the good does help in that it shows one to be an honorable man (terrestrial) instead of telestial. I really wonder about this concept in the abstract.

I have no intention of judging Paul or Kevin since I don't know their circumstances or heart and am quite confident that an omniscient God can figure out judgment without my opinion on where they should end up.

Still, it seems like a good idea to remember the good people do, even when they do things you disagree with.

Yes, and the Old Testament is a tapestry of murder, rape, and bigotry, all sanctioned by God. Pretty far from what Jesus taught.
