Re: Blacks weren't allowed to pray in church
by the way....
Some here have asked me for "evidence" of my claims of Mormonism not being as racist as anti-mormons claims, of positive quotes by Brigham Young and others about Blacks, and whatever else I've said that is being challenged.
While it is true you all have provided 'evidence' of your negative claims against the Church, however, what is also true, is that I don't have your LUXURY to rely on anti-mormons to simply quote whatever they have dug out of LDS history. Almost no Mormon has done yet what I've learned, through MY OWN study of Mormonism and it's history.
When I studied and learned most of what I now remember as "principle", it was 20 years ago, and it was out of many many books, articles, etc. I wasn't trying to wright a Thesis paper on evidences of whatever. I was simply seeking the truth. Thus, you all can cry all you want, that simply because I don't show you anything, that that must mean I'm lying etc., but I know what I went through. A person doesn't go from being an anti-mormon with the same judgments you all make about the Church and these issues, to a TBM of 20 years simply because I want to lie..... to try and make the Church look better.
For those who don't know who I am yet, I'm leeuniverse....... That's who I originally was in apologetics years ago, and who I still am outside of apologetics. My story hasn't changed. In fact, you can still read it over at ZLMB and one other place.
Anyway, I'm relaying what I've learned..... Feel free to not believe it, since it makes you feel better. If you really want to know the truth, study for it. Don't be intellectually lazy.

One of the beautiful things about the Church is that it takes only simple, childlike faith to know that it is true, but godlike omniscience to determine that it is not.
You'll learn - the hard way.
Oh, and here I thought that we weren't supposed to believe we know everything, and not be all into this black-and-white thinking.
Now, just for clarity, are space aliens the agents of karma, or are they subject to it?
Do you think karma is more likely to get me because I think Brigham Young was a racist, or because I think Spencer Kimball had sexual anxieties that would make Sigmund Freud's head explode?

Not only those positive list items, but Jane Manning James was able to be*** sealed to Joseph Smith as his servant.
*** Jane Manning James had requested to be sealed to Walker Lewis as a wife, but was allowed the servant sealing instead. However, there is nothing in the sealing that says she cannot enjoy equal connubial bliss with her master as any of the Celestial Sister-Wives.

I didn't know you thought that, but it doesn't surprise me at all. Nothing surprises me about you anymore, as long as it's anti-Mormon.
You'd hypothesise anything about those "corrupt and devious" Mormons.
Keep spreading your hate and misinformation here, Darth. Keep winning prizes here for your genius. At least some people love you. Don't expect their love if you ever decide to return to the Church.
See, it works both ways.

I'd hate to be someone on the fence here.

Don't worry, they're quite clear. Nothing to trip up on there.
