An LDS bishop in the 1970's encourages a black single adult male and a white single adult male to dry hump each other in light cotton underwear.

Acceptable? Yes? No?

I would have done it. No problem having a Mormon lay with a black young lady.

I don't think that the encouragement would come. But if the feeling of compatibility is there and both wish to see if they got what it takes, why not?

Mixing of the races is punishable by death. Also, it is better to come home in a box than to lose your chastity. What sort of Mormon are you, anyway?

Oh come on Buff. Having a makeout session is not losing one's chastity.

You gave me a history lesson where the human race originated. I asked you what color was adam and eve? Any answers?

I agree. But the church teaches that it does - particularly your "dry hump" version of making out.

To whom is it "just as bad as negro"?

According to genetics, they were both black Africans.

Y-chromosomal Adam.

Mitochondrial Eve.

edit: Now perhaps you'll answer Mary's questions.

Missing that wondrously stupid question by whyme almost makes me regret putting him on ignore. Can he be for real?

And of course the 'lineage' explanation of the priesthood ban only makes sense if we ignore any account of human origins but the one in Genesis.
