I think that they are afraid on some level. Fear=lashing out.
No, it isn't fear. Both of them, especially Marcus, experienced a halt in their emotional and overall spiritual growth once they left the church. A significant number of exmormons exhibit behaviors that reflect an underdeveloped maturity level, often expressing themselves with childlike tendencies. This can lead to anger and resentment influencing the words they type when engaging with you on the forum.

They are targeting you because their family has distanced themselves due to the damage done to their relationships. By choosing you, to pick on, who is Mormon, they experience a sense of achievement that brings them a fleeting sense of peace throughout the day.

Soon, what you'll see happen, is if I keep talking about them in this way, Canpakes will remove my post from the threads I post on because Marcus or Wang Chung complained, while at the same time Canpakes won't do anything about the personal attacks that Marcus and Wang Chung have for months directed towards you. Canpakes is here to uphold the progressive theme of the board, which is why he permits personal attacks against you for months. However, within days of me calling Marcus and Wang Chung ugly fibbers, you'll notice him removing my post. Believe me, it is bound to occur!

Marcus is OK with calling you a fibber, but if I call her an ugly fibber she'll loose her xxit! Mark my words!

What is the specific difference between “an act of God” and “an act of Mother Nature”? And how do we determine which is which?
Are we allowed to wait until all of the consequences of an "act" are known, so that we can make a better, more appropriate determination?

That would be drawing targets around where arrows fell. And would be a bit of a dishonest way of approaching my question - because it cannot be tested. There should be a clear and obvious difference between “an act of God” and “an act of Mother Nature”. I’m simply enquiring as to what the key differences are. Now, you can approach answering the question by listing what the hallmarks of an outcome are from “an act of God” versus the hallmarks of “an act of Mother Nature”.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

There you go, MG. You’re targeted, and now I have prohibited you from posting on the board, too. It was a secret, though, so I couldn’t tell you about it right away.

If you post again, I’ll be forced to prohibit you again. So, stop making me prohibit you from posting about my prohibiting your posting. Or else. Or something like that.
