Hey, look at you go, Pah. Neener-neener, right?

for what it's worth, I contacted the "victim" of Pahoran's alleged taunting and asked him about it. He told me it was just a mutual misunderstanding and there are no hard feelings.

I understand how a lot of posters here are not “out” with their disbelief and given the propensity of Mormon Apologists to contact people’s Church leaders and/or family, so I’m more than happy to leave them anonymous.
But I wonder what Pahoran has to lose in this case?
It may have something to do with his acrimonious divorce from his first wife, and the subsequent fallout from all of that.
Yes, there are many reasons why anonymity would be important to a poster. Working on political campaigns, such as Democrats Abroad Taiwan, for example.

I participate in these fora on the understanding that they are a "level playing field." Just as I don't walk up to people in Church and throw them to the ground, but absolutely have no problem with doing such things on the sports field, so I understand, as you evidently do not, that the rules here are not the same as the rules there.
But I rather resolutely insist that my participation is based upon the presumption that the same rules apply to everyone. I'm not going to bind myself to Marquess of Queensberry rules while everyone else is employing street-brawler tactics. Nor will I be preached at by those who have absolutely no intention of applying those preachments to themselves.
Regards,
Pahoran

Wow, Scratch. You must be losing your touch, if you have to reach back a quarter of a century to try to find something to annoy me with.
What's the matter? Haven't you got anything more up to date? No pictures of my children going to school, so that your fellow stalkers can know where to look for them?

I didn't know that Jesus taught you only have to follow his rules for behavior if the other guy does, too. You learn something new every day.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

As you know, that is not what I said.
But thanks for playing.

Not only that, but he seems to believe that he has the green light from Jesus to attack and hate even if the other guy doesn't behave badly.

Please clarify, as I read it the same way beastie did, as you saying you don't have to behave when others aren't.

Perhaps Uchtdorf got the wrong end of the stick when he told people to "Stop it!"
