Christians love to go around and tell people all you need is love, their God's love through Christ. The Bible and Christians of many stripes are on record of telling people that if they don't do it the Bible's way then they are going to burn in hell. Thus we see they preach love and they preach hellfire at the same time and threaten unbelievers with death.

I'm saying all you need is love. I've not said anything about hellfire and death against those who refuse to disagree with me. But the Christians do! Just read the Bible or the Book of Mormon!

But what you asked for wasn’t an explanation of how Christians could be seen as hypocritical. You asked how you could be seen as hypocritical. Would you mind addressing that?

Bible prophecy is a joke.

Whether or not Bible prophecy is a joke isn't the issue.

I've got some guy here basically telling Christians how messed up their religion is while he's in the process of fulfilling the very prophecies it espouses.

That makes you the joke.

If you think for a single second that I'm going to read a thread like this wherein you are acting like a raving hypocrite and not say so, you're wrong. I'm not going to pat you on the head to make you feel good.

Never have. Never will.

If you don't like challenge, then don't invite it.

One doesn't debate somebody on a diatribe. It serves no purpose. When you say something worthy of discussion instead of spouting vitriol against those who express a religious belief perhaps you will get a different response from people.

I think someone should love me for who I am. Is it possible to love someone but hate their heterosexuality?

Res Ipsa wrote:Or is your homosexuality such an integral part of who you are that it's not possible to hate one and love the other?

Homosexuality is an integral part of who I am just as heterosexuality is for you, I assume. Can I hate your heterosexuality and still love you? To answer your question, I don't believe anyone can love me and hate my homosexuality at the same time. Such a person, I don't care to even know.

I hope that helps.

Does "Bloody Jesus" condemn homosexuality?

It does help, Shulem, thanks. I feel the same way about my heterosexuality.

So, do you think one can love Jersey Girl and hate her faith?
