What did all that have to do with John Dehlin and Jerry Bradford? Droopy, why did you lie to all of us?

Huh?

You said you only came back to talk about Dehlin. Then you said you wouldn't be posting here anymore. You lied to us. Why did you do that?

Juggler Vain, may I attempt to answer for Tobin, and all other New-Age/New-Order/Dehlinite Mormons? The answer is very simple: God's hand is found in all things that are broadly acceptable to society, and is not in anything that may look kooky or abhorrent.

For example, God gave us the printing press and blue skies and the revelation to give blacks the priesthood. But God did not cause the disaster in Haiti, he didn't command polygamy, and he never once said that blacks should be denied the priesthood.

I hope that clears things up.

13 And it came to pass that before this thirteenth year had passed away the Nephites were threatened with utter destruction because of this war, which had become exceedingly sore.

14 And it came to pass that those Lamanites who had united with the Nephites were numbered among the Nephites;

15 And their curse was taken from them, and their skin became white like unto the Nephites;

16 And their young men and their daughters became exceedingly fair, and they were numbered among the Nephites, and were called Nephites. And thus ended the thirteenth year.

17 And it came to pass in the commencement of the fourteenth year, the war between the robbers and the people of Nephi did continue and did become exceedingly sore; nevertheless, the people of Nephi did gain some advantage of the robbers, insomuch that they did drive them back out of their lands into the mountains and into their secret places.

Since you're not reading my posts, or honestly engaging the points and arguments made, then, as usual, there's no point in conversing with you.

That's not a problem, Mr. Droopy. I'm just pointing out your absurdities on this one. I simply don't have the energy to do it on a consistent basis since you're so consistently absurd reference your religion's doctrines... It'd be a full-time job.

A simpler way to say that is God is the truth. Those things that are not true are not from God.

Did you just claim the Book of Mormon and Bible contain falsehoods? You do realize that both those tomes are canon, no?

Third time's a charm: Which parts of the Book of Mormon and the LDS Church are "from God" or "the truth"?
