The thread I linked you to explores this in greater detail. Months ago when I returned to the new and improved version of this board I specifically mentioned that I would just as well not participate in "rehash upon rehash". This is one of those times.

But you were the one that introduced the material for discussion. If it’s material you didn’t want to rehash, why on earth did you introduce it to this thread?

If you don’t want to enter into what you see as a rehash for yourself, don’t get involved. Leave it be. Don’t post on the topic. Definitely don’t introduce the subject yourself! But I don’t think you can resist. You do want to rehash, but selectively. When it suits you.

The opening post of this thread that you started, is full of rehash material. Your martyr syndrome is spiralling out of control.

I was about to say that I've heard of Steely Dan, but can't think of anything they sing, but after googling the band name and finding STEELY DAN - Some Of The Best Songs I realise that I'm not at all unfamiliar with them. In fact, I quite like their sound, and actually really like some songs I didn't know were theirs.
