So I guess that means that the image of God portrayed on South Park is the most accurate?

None of the hosts of Hell have seen the Usurper of Light in some time but that is similar to one of the more flattering images passed amongst us.

Livened things up? We must have different definitions of liveliness. ;)

My brain fuzzes over and my tongue lolls out of my mouth with all the scripture spewing.

You lack the long-term vision of what this accomplishes. Mixing two groups together and watching them spew anger against each other eventually leads to hatred. We can use hatred. The tastiest souls are filled with it. They will make fine eating. It is not quite up to mixed Pharisee and Sadducee yet. Combining their souls together creates a lovely ball of hate to play with. Enslave it and watch them writhe in self-righteous anger. A worthy feast indeed.

This person is absolutely right. Glenn Howard Griffin's defense attorneys have already established that since DNA evidence does not support the Book of Mormon, DNA must not be true. Things that aren't true don't come from God, so it's only logical to conclude God has no DNA.

That was probably the thought process involved in formulating that hypothesis.

Actually no. The discussion was how God and humans could have the same DNA and have reproductive compatability, if God evolved on one planet and humans evolved on another. Some apologists thought God could have micromanaged human evolution with a miracle here and there to nudge the proto-humans toward their current form, which is reproductively compatible with God, the original homo sapien. (Why is reproductive compatability an issue for Mormons? Why, because Jesus was the literal offspring of Elohim and Mary! They may or may not have had sexual intercourse, but Jesus was of God's flesh and Elder Packer has said God is of our same species.) Another apologist thought to undercut the whole debate by challenging me to document where LDS prophets said God even has DNA.

So the thought process seemed to be more like: "What's a good escape hatch to evade this problem -- I know! Maybe God doesn't even have DNA. CFR please, The Dude."

Argh....when will you all get it right?

The Star Wars geeks are the natural enemies of the Star Trek geeks....while the Potterheads are the natural enemies of the Tolkienites (or Lord of the Rings fans for you wankers who don't know what the J. R. and R. stand for in J.R.R. Tolkien).

John Ronald Ruel, if memory serves me. And I would be on the Star Trek/LOTR side of things, if forced to choose.

Gotta love the tactics. If they want to shut someone up, yell "CFR!" even if the things you are saying are often preached to them from the pulpit by the Lord's annointed. juliann once asked me to document the "stupid, ridiculous and inflammatory" claim that it's impossible to wear most of the clothes sold at department stores over garments.
