Oh, yes, there is a water fountain in Ashland, Oregon that has natural lithium in the water. It is called Lithia water. So fess up Gramma, what drugs are you on?

Over the past three years I have noticed that a majority of LDS defenders are pill popping, unemployed, and typically unwed. I know you are unemployed, but are still married, however, my gut tells me you are on the Sandy candy. What is your favorite?

WOW. Prooofound.

All the other xtian churches are nothing more than training camps for future Mormons?

ROFL!!!

In case you have not noticed, most new suckers who get pulled into the your pithy little church are, for the most part, the fringe members of society. The lower fringe. Most who have had religious training and has a tradition of worship and service think that LDS Inc is nothing more than a mega national cult.

You have way too much time on your hands. I am employed in many useful endeavors. Still married. And I don't take any mood enhancing drugs. Don't you have something better to do than to sit around and try to project a miserable little life onto other people?

How ironic.

I will make you the same deal I have offered countless other defenders of Joe'S myth..

Stop the flow of Mormon flavored human spam on the porches of my fellow Americans and I will disappear from not only these boards but I will stop making fun of Mormon and giving out secret handshakes to just about everyone I meet.

Are you also opposed to free speech, the freedom of religion, and a free press?

thestyleguy was ranting about this on another thread ... so you don't just take what styelguy says....

No problemo. I'm just trying to catch up with this running argument.

charity wrote:Myself, I think there are a lot of different churches which are following Christ.

Okay, that's fine that there are lots following Christ. You can count the Catholics even.

But who are the churches following the devil? You can count the the Pope as a Christ-follower but please name the church of the devil in his place.

LOL Granny! I guess as you claim, while many other churches are following Christ, there is only one with their head clear up the ass of Jesus!

Charity, you don't have to respond to my post if you don't want to. This thread is probably headed down a notch.

are other churchs your enemy? what have been the current thoughts about that - I think they are trying to move away from that and saying there is a lot of good in other churchs but you still have scripture that calls every church except the "true" church a whore and the church of the devil. It's black and white for Mormons - it always has been and likely will always be.

I think many churches are good training grounds. We can't get to everyone everywhere at the same time. So people learn the basics of the Gospel, how to serve their fellow man, and then they can move on to the higher law. I think other churches do a good job.

Nope. I believe in all of them. Some folks need religion.

Old Joe did not believe in a free press though...

As for free speech, my speech is freeing! I have almost 30 people whose defection from the LDS church is linked to me. Additionally I speak freely at least three times each week to unwitting non members about the ugly truth of the Mormon cult. Thanks to Mitt the opportunity comes up more and more.

At work, pictures of my larger than normal family always start with a question from others of "Are you Catholic or Mormon?" To which I begin, "Oh, I used to be Mormon..."

"USED TO BE??, What do you mean?"

*cue insideous loud laughter*

At the end of my "discussion" with non members, they are holding their sides from belly laughter. I finish it off with how to give secret handshakes to the idiot missionaries who continue to pester them. Occasionally, I will jest about the purpose of the lower slit in the veil... back in the days of the five and many times SIX points of faa'HELLO-ship hug!

Being an exmormon is a hoot.

At the end of my long life, my influence against LDS Inc could be in the BILLIONS of lost tithes. I revel in that.

first, i agree with shades.

second, it's internet Mormons who object to it, not me. hence they redifine it so that "the church of the devil" is merely whichever churches or worldviews they don't like, typically, ones which criticize the LDS church in any way.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
