Another update:

Her mother's graduation was today, so she didn't come over today either. All the balloons are still hiding all over the house. The roommates are kindof annoyed by the ones in the tub and the microwave.

Her friend said she was planning on coming tomorrow. We let the friend in on the plan, so she can help make sure it happens. We don't have any definite time yet, but it's looking like tomorrow for sure.

The anticipation is killing me. Every day she's without me is another day for her friends (who USED to be my friends, but he's totally breaking the guy-honor-code) and family to badmouth me. I know she doesn't really believe any of it, but it does make it harder to re-integrate.

Gah! I miss her! I'd totally go crash the graduation right now, even, but I lost my car keys! Not 5 minutes before walking back into my old house, my keys are missing. T_T!

SUCCESS!!! Well, for the most part.

After the graduation was over, my roommate was able to guilt-trip her into visiting for a couple hours, but only if we picked her up. We grabbed my roommate's car, and went up there right away. I ducked down in the back seat before we picked her up, and covered myself with blankets and boxes and stuff. Then, about half-way through the drive home, I popped up and hugged her.

She was shocked. Her conflicted emotions about me were readily apparent. We were able to keep everything light-hearted, and she loosed up quickly. We held hands on the way, but I could sense that she wasn't really sure about it.

When we got home, she ran through the scavenger hunt, but instead of myself as the prize, I offered her one of my computers. She's been needing a computer since the break-up.

After the scavenger hunt, she told me I was confusing. I sat her down, and we had a heart-to-heart. I told her all about how my fears played into the break-up, how I was torn so heavily after she left, and how I ran away to Seattle, so I could try and woo her without facing up to my local friends.

She cried, and my heart broke. She told me she had been trying so hard to forget me, and had almost succeeded when I started talking to her again. She was so hurt from the separation, she cried "You can't keep doing this to me!"

We hugged for a long while, until I finally whispered "I only did it once..." And that did it. She laughed, she looked at me, and I knew it would work out.

She said "I don't want a relationship."

I said "All I want is to be with you."

She said "So you're okay with being just friends for now?"

I said "As long as it's for now."

We both cried, and held eachother for a little more, and then it was okay. We snuggled, we talked, we spent the rest of the night in a soft and sure embrace. There were a few moments, where we would catch each-other's eyes, and the kiss would seem imminent, but she pulled out of those moments, shifting it to a kiss on the cheek, or another hug.

When I took her home, I sang to her. "Happy Together," by the Turtles. She sang to me the opening song from Mulan Rouge. We were laughing. We were happy. We held hands the entire way, and this time it was right and good.

She'll probably be visiting again tomorrow to pick up her computer. I think it will work out. Our love is just too strong to fight.

Thank you all so much. For the donations, and for the support. I hope I can return the favor.

Don't make the same mistake again! Good for you for swallowing down your pride Keene.

Don't hurt her again.

Oh, and good luck. :)
