Mister Scratch wrote:Well, we already have anecdotal evidence, via a statement given by Prof. Judy Dushku to a news reporter, that Romney had to "get permission" from the Brethren in order to play the pro-choice card. Obviously, he is seeking counsel from the Brethren in terms of how to behave, which positions to support, etc. Would he do something so extreme as "nuking England"? I seriously doubt that; but it would not surprise me in the least if he were to seriously stretch the boundaries of the Executive Office in order to "do the Brethren's bidding," as it were.
He better not step out of line or the SCMC will cause a shootout between the Secret Service and the Danites.
Dushku's evidence is also called hearsay.

I think Romney would be more likely to follow the pollsters and the bigger lobbyists. I imagine that President Romney would be willing to listen to the counsel of the Brethren about issues such a making the Smithsonian be more Book of Mormon friendly. Maybe even let Deseret Property Management take over the lead from Haliburton in Iraq.
Does anybody doubt that the BYU Security Strike Forces could not do a superior job to BlackwaterUSA?
Romney: I love Democracy. I love the United States. The powers you give me I will lay down once this crisis is averted.
Later on:
Romney: The Christian's attempt on my life has left me scarred............The Union will be reorganized into the FIRST Mormon EMPIRE.....FOR A SAFE AND SECURE SOCIETY.
We've all seen it before.
