I remember reading something where seventy-percent of married BYU females who took a survey- which was created by a sociology professor - reported that they had had sex prior to marriage.
That would definitely add credibility to his post. The question, then, is the following: isn't there supposed to be significantly less premarital sex among Mormons? It would be interesting to look at this survey.

I didn't even open this thread over a madb, but now you've peeked my interest Zoidberg. I'm curious who started it and if anyone else commented on how over generalized this is and the fact that three years "experience" in dating in Draper doesn't account for much to draw sweeping conclusions. I also think it's inappropriate for him to be discussing these young women and mentioning what their fathers do. It wouldn't be too hard to figure out who he's talking about if a reader happened to be in his ward or stake--and the church can be a pretty small community that way.
What I don't understand is that it hasn't been closed--from what's been posted here it doesn't sound like a thread that would remain open long on madb, or at least it should have been edited to remove the more "explicit" references.

by the way, is he saying serious sin is an orgasm OR penetration? Or do the two coincide in his mind? (Obviously not keen on the BYU sport of 'dry sex' where nudity/penetration are not necessary).
Dry Sex.. LOL! I seem to recall it was not always so dry..
I doubt things are not that much diffferent than nearly 30 years ago when I was at ybu..

Maybe the mods are away from the board.
My thoughts exactly. His "analysis" is dunder-headed enough, this kind of thing puts his remarks into very unethical territory.
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."
I've always been the goto guy for advice regarding just about anything for women. I'm very nice and understanding, and I keep secrets.
Doesn't keep a secret. Immediately goes into details of income, demographics, locations, ages, church positions, and identifying employers.
I've also had the opportunity to steady date 6 girls in high school, and over a dozen post-high school.
Really how "steady" is this? A new girlfriend every couple of months. Experienced.
Astounding what our young women have sunk to! To be positive, the majority of these girls only transgressed once and felt utterly remorseful. Also went through the repentance process and are now home free.
Judgmental and absolute.
Lets preface with the fact that I have never had to deal with such a problem.
Self-righteous.
I GOT IT,
I finally got it,

Indeed. What about us men who never did sports in high school. (I like biking and hiking, but I'm not particularly good at either). Guess I don't have anything to define myself by except sex. Except I didn't do much dating at all in high school. I defined myself through my nerdiness (computers, math, strange sense of humor, etc.). Sports? You can easily define yourself without sports. There's art, music, academics, charisma, etc.

Not to mention that while people may play sports in their high school days, odds are that most pen will scale back their athletic activity (from every day 2 hours worth of practice in high school to none or 3 times a week or whatever). Are they less of men for the last 50+ years of their life.

Oh, I think the guy is just jealous because all those young women didn't have sex with him.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

That would be my guess.
