So you left one boys club that like to dress up in costumes and do secret handshakes and secret passwords, and joined another one?

Huh? The masons are the pure form of masonry. The temple ceremonies are a bastardized version of them. I do not see your point.

Indeed. It gives my life meaning but at the same time I am not a serf indebted to the kolobian space god.

Maybe its just a phase, my "demerol" used to get off of the hard drugs of Mormonism.

Perhaps but you have stated and implied many times that the Temple ceremonies are completely ridiculous and submitted them to intense ridicule. Is the 'pure' version somehow completely sane?

I don't mind rituals, I just want beautiful and meaningful ones. I would expect something truly otherwordly rather than rehashed Bible stories and masonic initiation codes. Something that signified the apotheosis of the creative as well: definitely not white suits and ties on men and polyester matron wear on women. Everything about the temple ceremony strikes me as far, far too worldly and redolent of a middlebrow world at that.
From the Ernest L. Wilkinson Diaries: "ELW dreams he's spattered w/ grease. Hundreds steal his greasy pants."

The temple ceremonies are stupid. Masonry is totally different. I am speaking from experience and I would appreciate it if you treat masonic information with respect instead of the flippant way you handle it now.

Blixa, you are using a lot of large SAT words today. Dumb it down for those of us who imbibed last night. Thanks, love.

Ha.

She said it was too much white polyester for her taste to seem sublime. I think.

And far more eloquently.
The road is beautiful, treacherous, and full of twists and turns.
