X = X / 2 (where X is the Spirit)
The solution is X = 0 ( zero, nothing, none, "S" is not exist, take Your pick )

There's one more possible solution: x = infinity (Pantheism or the God of Spinoza?)

I will ask my TBM wife who used to teach math. (Certainly, I don't tell her that the problem has arised on this forum. This is a no-no for her.)

I didn't teach math, I use it only. I don't like infinity, it remembers me to my .... well, I don't like it. In the technical usage, there are no infinitive values. I have never measured infinite voltage, current, power, time or processor speed. (Human stupidity is unmeasurable.)

I should seriously spank you for that...

Let me just toss the disclaimer out there that there were no racist intentions in that post

:)

I just wanted to spank you. LOL

How about infinite conductivity or infinite impedance?

Anyhow, Hilbert's Hotel may not exist, but it does demonstrate a time in math where X/2 = X and X is not zero. In fact, in Hilbert's Hotel X+1 = X. Strange, but true.
