Because in the particular news story I'm thinking of the victim told the cameras that he had always been an avowed atheist and that this kind of crime proved him right. My powers of deduction are incredible. Admittedly at the time I had no idea what the word atheist meant.

No offense to Paul, but the Thought Police are blind to the inherent hypocrisy of their position.

Huh. What kind of crime proved him right?

This may explain a lot that you use one new story (and that he protected you from the happenings in the news story) to deduce God's power of protection through out the world. I'd suggest checking out a few more new stories from time to time... might be helpful...

I recommend the lower Celestial glory then. You still get godlike power but aren't married and don't have to worry about losing kids. It's win/win.

Nope... Don't care at all about all the power and glory. Don't care to be a queen, to rule or reign.

I want to be with my husband, children, family, and loved ones.

There is no true heaven in the Mormon religion, in my opinion.

Explains a lot of what? I don't watch the news anymore. I don't get television. If find it pretty dull. Then there are commercials trying to make my mind collapse in on itself.

I didn't try to explain God's power of protection throughout the world. Just for me. Hooray Me!!!!! I'm the only person whose life I can even semi-adequately examine. I use my observations, my reasoning, my experiences, and my evaluations to make suppositions. What else should I use?

You say you based your deductive reasoning on watching one news program and your own life. What should you use? A start would be checking your observations (premise) against others.

So, what kind of crime proved the atheist correct, Nehor?

That sounds like a lot of work. Plus I already got God to tell me the important stuff. Checking against others seems like overkill to me.

It was a revenge killing that took the lives of one adult woman and two kids.

Well, if you're going to use deductive reasoning you start out with a general rule and narrow it down to specifics -- not the other way around.

How did the revenge killing prove the atheist correct, Nehor? Am I just going to have to keep asking before you tell me what you are getting at?

I'm also interested how this one news story (of an atheist saying he was proven correct that dealt with a revenge killing) helps your case that God is a nice guy and those that he doesn't help in news stories are those that have asked him to butt out of their lives.

The person in question said she never believed in God and that he would allow such a thing to happen proves he does not exist. I can't prove God is a nice guy. Like most people, you have to meet him before you can make that assessment. He is though.
