Can we make it so I can quote more than 2 blocks or whatever? It's not that I like to, but that I dislike having to go and edit stuff every time I try to quote people.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

Since personal attacks are out for everyone, I really don't see how this makes any difference.

What happened to Moniker's last post from this morning? I thought she made a valid point.

I didn't see it, but there is a good possibility she asked one of the mods to delete it. She does that from time to time.

Moniker?

She deleted it and then I was on the board and she asked me to delete it entirely.

Gah - I hate it when posts are deleted in their entirety. It's bad enough when a poster deletes the content, but when a moderator then removes the entire post, it's just annoying. Oh well.

  • The Rules of the Board have been completely revamped and overhauled. Please read this.

That said, I think everything is now in place. Let the experiment begin in earnest.

I want clarification on something, Shades. I'm not going to engage in debate, just wanting to point out something I don't see addressed. I used the link you provided above and I don't see rules for the Off Topic forum. Did I miss them or do you still need to add them?

Also wanted to offer some feedback. I haven't been reading the board all that much but from what I see when checking into random threads, mods are covering the threads well and it looks like the community (as a whole) is cooperating with the experiment.

I think that more mod coverage was a healthy move and it looks good so far!

I think if you're interested in pulling more Mormons to the forum you'll have to start moderating the critics to a greater extent. Essentially, this board will have to be a MAD&B board lite. Otherwise, they'll continue to avoid it because they don't like it when you post clown pictures of them in response to an absurdity they just posted.
