bcspace failed French in high school, and now he thinks everything over there is set up to make guys like him look dumb.
Actually I passed with the same teacher who had Morgan Fairchild come through her class. My mom also taught French in HS. I myself am of direct Norwegian descent one generation removed from that country and am intimately connected with Europe in many ways; friends, exchange students, etc.

Interesting that you mention Morgan Fairchild, because I was referencing a movie in which she appears.

Well, I guess you have to look at this from the viewpoint of someone who is religious AND may believe Mormonism is Satanic. If one were a Christian of some sort, would one be happy with an outright Satanic group performing ordinances using one's deceased family members' names?
It's hard for atheists to understand why they care at all, since we think it's all meaningless.
by the way, anti-frenchies are irritated because france has so often been right in its advice to us. We were once so closely allied, it's sad to see Americans so easily persuaded France was just being mean to us,and who cares because their underwear stinks anyway.
France is very protective of its culture, and that was one of the main reasons Mormonism was not viewed fondly when I was a missionary there. It's seen as a distinctly American religion - which, frankly, it is.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
