I thought that "Markkk" thing was DCP just adding a "K" each time he addressed Markk. So the first would be: Markk, then the next time would be the infamous "Markkk", but then:
markkkk markkkkk etc...
that's what I saw in that post (from a Scratch crossover thread If I recall correctly).

I have a couple points to make. I've been called a couple of names, twice I've been called "gadfly". Now, this is twice in many years of being online with this name. The first alteration by my friend Pahoran, only once ever, and once by Schryver just recently. I'm pretty sure but not positive that Schryver wasn't at Z at this time as it was at the very beginning of my posting there. So, I had to wonder if one is the sock puppet of the other. Certainly, it's a much bigger hit than any link between Kishkumen and Scratch.
As far as "Markkk" goes, well, I can't read anyone's mind, but I can offer what would be going through mine if I were to pull this stunt. Now, I wouldn't, as I don't believe I've ever altered a posters name with the hopes of diminishing their self-esteem. But there would be two possibilities here:
1) Directly intentional association with the Klan. Because it would be a very dicey move, and possibly one that could get me censored at MAD under Godwin's, I'd spell it the next time with a couple more K's to throw observers off the scent, to let them "get it" but have plausible deniability.
2) Indirectly intentional. It might have just been a flippant alteration without much thought, but upon observing the output, immediately I'd realize how virtually everyone would read it. So by not going back and editing it, I would be endorsing the plain misreading which I know would cause embarrassment for the recipient.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
I'm still wondering if anyone has a link to this "markkk" instance.

It happened in the thread on MADB where Dr. Peterson announced his paper on the trinity. I don't have the link handy. But after reading the responses in this thread, I like B23's explanation. I don't think it was intentional; he was just adding k's to Markk. I don't suspect anything nefarious, like Ice Cube's Amerikkka's Most Wanted album title.
Also, I'm guilty of altering usernames. In the past I referred to LifeOnaPlate as AssOnaPlate. It was based on a running joke from college when my friend and I operated a pirate radio station. We would do fake celebrity news and one of the segments was Burt Reynolds sightings. We said he was seen at Hooters ordering a plate of tits and a side of ass. That's where the ass on a plate came from. Enlightening.

Ha. That's how my name would sound if Modest Mouse covered the Pavement song that I took it from (the first track on Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain).
