What do you call a 50-something Mormon bachelor ?
Gay..
Gay..
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it.

I'm not interested in your sssm thread, but I am interested in your answers to two questions:
1. Has MAD forbidden you from starting any more same sex threads? I recall someone starting a thread calling for a ban on the topic, but didn't follow the thread to see the end result. Your appearance here, however, does all into that time frame. Hence, my curiosity.
Not that I have any interest in participating in this thread or think the subjectmatter any of your business, let me just briefly say that the participants at MaDB were asked to give discussions about SSM and SSA a rest. I am respecting that decision.
2. Why are you so obsessed with the "same sex" issue?
My interest (not to be confused with "obsessed") is in helping to avert further degredation of social morays and to protect the foundational institution of society from devolution so as to provide a better future for our children.
Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Unless, God forbid, your children happen to be gay.

So if you're not mainly "interested" in homosexual issues, but rather the degradation of social mores in general, have you spent an equivalent amount of time on other issues - issues that, in fact, impact a far larger segment of society than the homosexual issue?
One that immediately springs to mind is child abuse. Sadly, child abuse and/or neglect, in various forms, is quite prevalent in our society. In just one year, for example, 4.5 million children were impacted by abuse or neglect. Actually, the number is likely far, far higher, because this is just the number that were reported.
http://pediatrics.about.com/od/childabu ... _stats.htm
Abused children often grow up to repeat, in some fashion, the dysfunctional pattern they learned as children. It seems to me that not only is this the more serious sin (see Jesus's comments about the neck and millstone), but impacts more people, and has more long term negative effect on society overall.
And, of course, this is just one example. Addictions of various sorts are another obvious example, as is poverty.
So are you as "active", so to speak, in campaigning against child abuse, or any of these other issues?
If, in reality, you are mainly focused on homosexual issues and not the overall problem of degradation of social mores, then you still haven't answered my question.
There are many issues that a conservative - or anyone - would perceive as a potent threat to society. Why have you focused on homosexuality, in particular, out of all those issues?

Excuse me for my impudence, but do you suppose these morays are same-sexed morays?

I think so. You can see it in their beady little eyes. Tosh tosh, Wade.

They truly look concerned over whether their union will be legally recognized or not (should I say "eellegally?")

Nice. Bad, but nice.
PS: Wade is a douchebag. Maybe he's gay, maybe not. But he's a douchebag. That's for certain.

No, I don't think it does. I think it entails the belief that stable heterosexual relationships are too-often considered undesireable*. How many kids are being raised in a home without their fathers?
* Correction: They are too often considered too much work to be worth it.
