Yeah I thought it was a pretty weird thing to say when someone said that to me as well.

The point of the optional strategy KA and others are talking about is get this 33 year old prick running so fast she'll be unable to catch him. Think about it. Who has more to lose? Go after the high stakes players - the man, his employer's liquor liscence, public perception etc..
And Liz, if there is no evidence and no willing witness to a pre-teen relationship or booze guzzling (which there is and never will be one) your idea of threatening the man could backfire into a defamation suit or worse.

Actually I would say the parents have much more to lose. You are potentially looking into breaking the law, and it's a huge risk that the parents will not alienate the daughter.

If I were the father, it would be a risk I'd be willing to take. I would hope an 18 year old drama queen would take note that where one guy leaves, three more suiters pop up.
Besides, what does it say about a guy to an 18 year old girl when he would predictably put his reputation and treasure above their "relationship" whereas the parents are potentially willing to risk theirs? But perhaps that conclusion may be too much to expect from a girl with obvious poor judgement skills.

Early withdrawal?
So many choices. Oral, anal, manual, withdrawl, herbs, abortion, women who are already pregnant, girls who are pre-menstrual, miscarriage, early infant death....
Statistical fact, women who share a husband mother fewer children than women with their own husband. Add to that a man who is in hiding a lot and trying to keep the relationships secret and it isn't really that far of a stretch to think he didn't father children with more than Emma even though he cheated on her.

This plan is full proof until the cops show up and older brother/father gets arrested for assault and battery.
Even if he's not dissuaded by the ass-kicking and lack of employment, the eighteen year old girl will surely lose interest in him. No young girl in her right mind wants a broke loser with missing teeth.
You'd be surprised lol. The daughter of one of my bosses dated a total loser for like 2 years. She was 19 or so and he was mid 20s. Eventually it ended, but my boss was never totally hostile, just silently disdainful of him and careful to keep the valuables (like credit cards) out of the girls hand so the jerk didn't mooch too much.

Honestly, if you're going to go down this road, he needs to get hit hard enough that he has difficulty recalling how he "fell down" and hurt hisself. If you're not willing to ramp it to that level, you have little choice (for your family's sake) but to choose a different approach.
