Has anyone heard of a garment fetish? Now that would be interesting!

One time (about 3 years ago), I told my wife she looked good in G's. What the hell was I thinking?! I was likely trying to talk myself into it since I was confined to a life with garments. Maybe I was inadvertently trying to develop a garment fetish myself? Maybe so!

The problem is, teenagers aren't exposed to garments so it's hard to develop the fetish later in life after you are already used to other types of clothing.

As a sexual turn-on? No. But consider behavioral modification. If everytime the male sees his mate in garments, sex follows soon thereafter. Soon the male is getting a woody just seeing the female in garments.

Strangely enough, I NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE got woody when I would see my ex wearing garments. I much preferred to see her naked, fully clothes, or in panties. Seeing her just in garments was always kind of a turnoff.

Maybe some guys do get turned on by girls in Gs.

I am not one of those guys.

I don't know where this comes from. I've never "screamed in terror" when my SO has walked in on me in my bra and panties, or in my panties only, or in the shower, or when I'm walked in on naked. As to the thong bikini, I'd never even think of wearing one, they look so uncomfortable.

He wasn't referring to your SO walking in on you.

I have never in my entire life met an active Mormon woman who admits she is willing to do such a thing. I have never before witnessed a Mormon woman I'm acquainted with do such a thing.

Are you sure your wife is devout? That makes no sense to me whatsoever. Maybe you guys live in isolation from any other Mormons?

How does she answer the TRI question of wearing Gs night and day?

You haven't? Geez, no wonder one might get critical of the Church. I think a lot has to do with the way we interpret those questions. The way I interpret it when they ask about garments I feel that means you wear them as a rule. I would easily be able to say yes to the TRI question in that case, even though I go running in shorts, swimming, biking, etc. My wife sees it the same way. Yeah, one can go to extremes either way but really, I have to wonder how many men or women are as strict on this issue as you imply.

Fiannan,

Going to the zoo with your family is NOT the same thing as swimming, biking, running, etc. I have never known a TBM who considers going to the zoo with the family on a hot day as a reason to leave the Gs at home.

Your wife is slightly apostate. Get used to it man. But don't think of this as a bad thing. You are extremely lucky. Very few TBM men out there have the lucky opportunity to see their spouse in a tank top on normal, family outings. Damn, you are a lucky TBM.

I didn't even own a tank top for the 15 years I wore G's. I did have a few layering cami's to help cover more while wearing cuter tops.

I even wore G's while working out. Yeah, I was fricken hardcore. But, so is my husband.

Finnian, you lucky.

Depends upon how early you started attending Church singles dances.
