I have an incredibly safe job right now that pays pretty well and lets my wife not work even in costly DC (this is my argument to stay put). By going to Utah it will likely be a huge hit but she really misses her family.

Why not just buy her a plane ticket?

Things could be worse. Just stay away from events marked "Tea Party" or "Eagles Forum" or BYU Football.

There is no reason to assume your kids will pick up any hateful opinions or behavior unless they are heavily under the stupor of reactive teenage rebellion.

Hmmm... the cities surrounding me got a 3, a 6, and a 7. And strangely enough, their incomes are similiarly ranked. Go figure.
