I don't know who the anti-mormons here are. And I thought you were Catholic. And Mormon.

If I were anti-Mormon I wouldn't attend sacrament meeting every week with my family.

I have seen some black parishes and charismatic parishes that probably come close to replicating it. In the Polish and Hungarian areas of South Bend they even occasionally have polka masses. The mass is the same, but the musical expression can be very different. Sometimes the preaching at some of the black parishes has the same cadence as the preaching in a black Protestant service.

Hmmm.... that could be. I'm unfamiliar with the examples you've given, but they don't match my experience. Nonetheless, there is quite a divers expression of Christian faith that I think is wonderful.

Plus, we've made Whyme sick, so it's a two-fer.

Me too! Yuck!

to see the antimormons lauding over the catholic mass and catholicism makes me sick.

Indeed!
One of the most disgusting threads I have ever read, anywhere.

But then again, I am not an antimormon.

I hear ya brother.

The only hypocrisy I see is a person who claims to be Catholic but just hates it when people say something nice about Catholicism and so just has to call them names.

Well, what can I say ceeboo. Here we have antimormons picking at Mormon history and the prophets of the LDS church and yet, singing praises for the catholic church and for the catholic mass, more or less saying that how wonderful the catholic mass is and the catholic church. Overlooking catholic history and the popes.

For me that is hypocrisy. My antimormon friends on this forum tend to give other faiths a free ride.

Well, what I usually see are antimormons overlooking the wrongs in catholic history as they sing praises for the catholic mass and for the catholic church, and at the same time pick at Mormon history and the LDS leaders. But then again I saw this on your catholic taliban site when it came to the LDS church and its history and the LDS leaders. A lot of hypocrisy too as they gave the catholic church a free pass but not the LDS church.

Yes, that is exactly what they are saying.

For me that is hypocrisy. My antimormon friends on this forum tend to give other faiths a free ride.

Yes!
I am with you, the great majority of MDB posters give other faiths a free ride.

Well said!

The Catholic Church's history is indeed worse than the Mormon Church's history. But, at least their services won't put you to sleep. That's something, right?

Now, ceeboo, come close to the computer because I want to whisper something to you...are you ready.....come closer....why don't you head over to the former catholic member site and preach to those who left the fold. I think that you will discover the same crowd saying what the antimormon former Mormon crowd says here with the only difference it is the catholic church they are moaning about.
