Notice also how they had no clue the 2 pages came from Daheshist's website?(http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/blackmormon/BMPB1.htm)
Notice how they thought it was "Pahoran's" work..... and Kevin G. changing the Title of the Thread and his post when he realized he was wrong, trying to cover-up his error?

They don't realize how ignorant and immoral they are. I know for sure because I was them once.

I freely admit that I am secretly jealous of both your large, pulsating brain and your unparalleled ability to insert random CAPS into your dialog.

Good catch on the URL capitalization, as well.

edit to add: You're dead wrong about at least one thing, ldsfaq. You were never me.

My statement is not to "puff myself up"..... It is to warn.... It's to demonstrate that you people who claim to be so intellectually superior to LDS, to being the REAL "truth-tellers" of all things Mormon and otherwise, are in fact not as intelligent as you believe, and should start learning to be more CAREFUL in what you believe and state when opening your mouth.

You should take the command to not bear false witness seriously.
You are all too eager to condemn things that have more more depth than you realize, but more importantly, you are too eager in your condemnation of things that help bring light and joy to the world, things that lift man, and helps him be better, better than the low animal, things that helps him rise above the natural man.

You are all too eager to destroy the things of God, of Light, of Good.....

When you realize what side of good and evil you are actually on, if you are someone wanting to be moral, and you don't want to be on that side, THAT is when you will start to see the actual truth of things.

Keep thinking that..... but it is you lying to yourself.
I had the same anti-mormon/anti-religion judgments as you, I loved going my own way, loved a little sin also here and there.

I know your box better than you.

You have no idea what I believe or what I've done.

Take care ldsfaqs.

Kevin dear,

Isn't it amazing (as smart as you are) you were once under the influence of the cult and did its bidding? This just goes to show that the cult has a far reaching arm and is able to reach out and get anyone at any time.

ldsfaqs should take a moment and explain why apologists teach that the black man in Facsimile No. 3 is just a slave and define his name according to the writing of the text.

Go ahead, ldsfaqs, tell us more lies. We anti-Mormons are willing to listen to your little lies. Feed us with the Mormon-wisdom of Facsimile No. 3.

Your pretend-prophet Monson is a like a wet rag filled with nasty scum. Surely you can do better. Tell us about the Facsimile No. 3 revelations! Teach us, ldsfaqs! Tell us about the little black slave. (Slap across the face) Prophesy, prophesy!!

Sorry you all feel every answer should be "perfectly FED" you. You all and Satan would love each other. He also wanted all the answers to be given. Hell with actually WORKING for something to know it.

Wait. Are you really a Protestant speaking to the Mormons here? What's the point of prophets who don't prophesy? Seers who don't see? Revelators who don't revelate? Apostles who don't, um, er, postle?

And are you one of those who claimed they used to be Mormon?
If so, it never ceases to fascinate me the anti-mormon mind, how much they forget and to then pervert.

Prophets are foremost "Watchmen"..... The other things you speak of (big anyway) only occurs according to God's timeline. Many years go by before there is something like a Restoration, a Christ, a Moses, etc. Many more of those years are in Apostasy.

Anyway, Prophets do all the above, but they are still men. The "Church" is not a particular Prophet, nor the whims of a particular prophet or group of prophets. God's Church is beyond men. God clearly has his reasons, which are based in requiring FAITH..... If every question was answered, there would be no Faith.

Further, didn't God say, it's is a slothful servant that must be commanded in all things?
God expects us to do our part. He leaves some things to test us, to test our Faith, to try us, to find out WHO we really wish to serve. That is the key. When I realized that I was on the Darkside of the Force and pursuing a path that would only result in greater ignorance and evil, that's when I decided to put away my judgments of religion. And then when I was ready to continue to learn, to learn again, that's when the full truth was shown. Your cup of hate toward the things of Light and righteousness runneth over, having no room for the light and truth to enter.

Prophets are foremost "Watchmen".....

Yes, I'm aware of this apologetic, of recent invention in Mormonism--since the prophets stopped prophesying and the revelators stopped revelating and the seers stopped seeing and the translators stopped translating. It's an ad hoc excuse made up to try to explain why what started as a dynamic religion turned so moribund.

If every question was answered, there would be no Faith.

By your logic, people would have more faith the less information they had, so the people of the Dark Ages during the Great Apostasy had more faith than the Mormons after Joseph Smith brought additional information to the world.

it's is a slothful servant that must be commanded in all things

Since leaving the church, I am now commanded in no things, so I guess by your logic I am a lot less slothful than all those little morgbots who are being told everything from how many earrings to wear, what underwear to put on, when and how and with whom they can have sex, what they can and cannot drink, what to read, what to watch on TV, and on and on.
