Sorry you all feel every answer should be "perfectly FED" you. You all and Satan would love each other. He also wanted all the answers to be given. Hell with actually WORKING for something to know it.
Wait. Are you really a Protestant speaking to the Mormons here? What's the point of prophets who don't prophesy? Seers who don't see? Revelators who don't revelate? Apostles who don't, um, er, postle?
And are you one of those who claimed they used to be Mormon?
If so, it never ceases to fascinate me the anti-mormon mind, how much they forget and to then pervert.
Prophets are foremost "Watchmen"..... The other things you speak of (big anyway) only occurs according to God's timeline. Many years go by before there is something like a Restoration, a Christ, a Moses, etc. Many more of those years are in Apostasy.
Anyway, Prophets do all the above, but they are still men. The "Church" is not a particular Prophet, nor the whims of a particular prophet or group of prophets. God's Church is beyond men. God clearly has his reasons, which are based in requiring FAITH..... If every question was answered, there would be no Faith.
Further, didn't God say, it's is a slothful servant that must be commanded in all things?
God expects us to do our part. He leaves some things to test us, to test our Faith, to try us, to find out WHO we really wish to serve. That is the key. When I realized that I was on the Darkside of the Force and pursuing a path that would only result in greater ignorance and evil, that's when I decided to put away my judgments of religion. And then when I was ready to continue to learn, to learn again, that's when the full truth was shown. Your cup of hate toward the things of Light and righteousness runneth over, having no room for the light and truth to enter.
