It's about free speech. I am forced to defend Rush's right to make an ass of himself.

He certainly has that right, but let's not misrepresent what the right of free speech is.
It is the right to express an opinion without the fear of the government arresting you for it. It's not the right to say anything you want without any consequences from anyone.
You have the right to say something stupid and offensive. The feds won't put you in prison for it. But your employer has the right to fire you for your negative impact on his/her company. Your church has the right to excommunicate you. And your customers have the right to get angry and complain to your employer and your sponsors and try to get you fired.
So no, it's not about free speech at all.

Your statement is nothing but leftist misrepresentation and lying about the facts.
The issue is that particular womens actions and lying statements about the issue and wanting government thus the people to pay for it, not whether people use birth control or otherwise.

Would you describe the women you know who have used birth control as sluts? Would you mind if I called them sluts?

Like I said, you misrepresent.....
He didn't and isn't calling people who use birth control "sluts", he called THAT PERSON who did and said what she did and said after an full analysis in fact ultimately a slut.

Yeah, because that's totally different, when he had no actual knowledge of her sluttiness and the only thing he had to go on was her support for birth control. Here's a quarter, ldsfaqs. Buy a damned clue.

I never said there would be no repercussions for his comments, did I?
Obviously, we view free speech differently.

It's nice to know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints agrees that women who use birth control are sluts, though.
A lot radio stations will state something as: "The views and opinions expressed on this program are not necessarily the views of this station.." right before a certain radio host comes on. While I agree that what Rush Limbaugh said during the radio segment of his was very disgusting, I think that it is kind of a leap to state that the LDS Church "agrees that women who use birth control are sluts."

Note to ldsfaq: Rush is in no position to judge anyone.
