I have faith in due time God will call a real prophet for the Mormons to set them right - my preference is that it would be a black lesbian woman since that would seem to be who they need to hear from the most.

LDS Inc knows it cannot cut out this malignant growth without loosing even more. Perhaps the money changers(LDS accountants) have determined that the least loss is to let them remain.

I think the Church will let such remain. At least the high profile ones. I think they fear the back lash. But letting them remain can and likely will change the face the the LDS church. Droopy and BC will eventually become the dinosaurs (well I think they likely are already) of the Church. The title of the thread Droopy gave it may will prove him to be prophetic.

And you can judge her heart just how? Just because she is not a Monolithic hard nosed Mormon like you does not mean she does not repent.

Or, perhaps, that Heaven and earth can be brought together through politics - a kind of LDS "social gospel," with the Church assisting this process, but not necessarily being central to it.

If you were Brooks's bishop, what would you say to her? Would you initiate a disciplinary court? Jason Bourne asked you a set of rather important questions, I think. That you've chosen to ignore them is rather telling.

As a Mormon, I really like what Sister Brooks has to say since much of it reflects my own views. I'm sure I'd land on Droopy and bc's apostasy list somewhere, but I view their brand of conservative Mormonism unrepresentative of Mormonism too.
